Chapter Forty
Arianna burst into uncontrollable tears the moment she heard Alexander slam the door after helping himself out of her apartment.
She plopped down on the sofa beside her and sobbed. A few minutes later, She felt her best friend's presence beside her. Ellie pulled her into a hug and she cried her eyes out in Ellie's chest.
"It's okay, baby. Everything will be alright; I promise!" Ellie whispered as she patted her best friend's hair.
Arianna finally calmed down after a couple of minutes. Ellie got her some tissue to wipe her face and a glass of water which Arianna refused to take so Ellie left it on a nearby table.

Epilogue.One year later!Today turned out to be one hell of a busy day for everyone at Ari Mills. Even the Boss, Arianna Greece wasn't left out. She had been from one meeting to the other, attended to important calls and even reviewed documents.The last meeting for the day was with her staff ( the head of various Departments in Ari Mills.) The meeting lasted for about an hour and it ended at 5 pm on the dot.Ari dismissed everyone once the meeting was over. They all exited the conference room, leaving Ellie and Arianna behind.
