The next morning dawned on Tarron’s Ridge. It looked to be a clear day with a slight chill in the air. It seemed peaceful despite recent happenings. Patrols were on as the front was guarded. Men were on watch and they already had to clear a couple of visitors. But so far, it had been peaceful.

Men started coming into the main room from their own bedrooms as a scent had lured them. It wasn’t coffee like most mornings. No, this was bacon.
