Cassandria POV.

I walk on autopilot through the mansion. I see my team and they look at me knowingly. They are smirking at me, but I look away and walk to find Cynthia.

“Little one, are you ok?” Andros grips both my arms and I look up at him. My bottom lip quivers and I nod my head, looking away when he pulls me into his arms.

“Tell me what happened. I will make him pay.” He says, but I shake my head. I sigh as I pull back and look at my brother.

“It’s nothing he did or said. It’s me. I need to find Cynthia. Do you know where she is?” I ask him and he looks at me, gauging me.

“The hospital, why is everything ok?” I shake my head.

“I need her to look into something for me. Something that has been playing on my mind, something doesn’t feel right.” I say to him and he nods in understanding. He knows what I’m referring to. He was there that day. The day I was told I was infertile.

“Ok, do you want me to come with you?” He asks, and I shake my head.
