Chapter 5

[Ring][Ring][Ring]

By the third ring, the woman in the office who wears a white suit with her silver hair reaching at the end of her back, answered the phone call.

“what?” the woman cold voice with an annoyance on her tone penetrated the quiet room.

“Is that how you answer to your mother now? Elaine” a woman’s voice who can be identified as someone from her 50’s spoke with an ungrateful tone on her voice.

“What do you want? I’m busy” Elaine asks in annoyance as she flips her hair, she sat down on her chair and opens the laptop that was placed on the table in front of her.

“Your dad and I wanted to ask if you found any boyfriend yet” Her mother spoke with a little bit of impatient tone in her voice.

“What? Mom, how many times do I have to tell you. I’m lesbian, I’m into girls!” Elaine burst into anger as soon as she heard her mother’s word, her tone was full of anger as she spoke.

“No, you’re not. I want you to bring your boyfriend to our home” Her mother disagreed with her words and insist on bringing a boyfriend even though Elaine didn’t have a boyfriend let alone a girlfriend.

Elaine squeezes her phone as she listens to her mother’s word, she let out an icy stare at the picture frame from afar while clenching her jaws.

Thinking that she couldn’t take it anymore, “Mother, no” she let out two words before hanging up the call. She put back her phone to the table and began to work on her laptop.

[Ring][Ring][Ring][Ring]

Elaine ignores the incoming call; she focuses on doing her works on the laptop.

[Ring][Ring][Ring][Ring]

Another incoming call was ignored by Elaine, this is the third time her mother called her. After waiting for a minute, her mother stops calling her.

Just as she thought she can have her peace, her mother texted her. She looks at the phone, her eyes widen in anger. She throws the mug that was placed on her table across the room, she quickly turns off her phone after throwing the mug.

‘AAARRGGGHHH!!!’ she angrily shouted in her mind as put one hand to her head and the other to her table, supporting her body.

“Not going to give me the company if I don’t a boyfriend huh...?” Elaine muttered the content of her mother’s text while she sarcastically laughs, she held her mouth as she curled up from laughing.

“Did they forget that I handle most of the company?” she talks to herself as she calms herself down, she closed her eyes as she sat down. ‘Calm down Elaine…you’re becoming like your father’ she thought to herself.

After calming, Elaine calls her secretary and told her to let someone clean up the mess.  Knowing their president’s attitude when she gets angry, they quickly tell the janitor to clean up.

Elaine continues her work on her laptop while the janitor cleans up, she took a glance at the man who is cleaning then lets out a sigh.

“Sorry about this, I’ll raise your pay this month” She apologized with her usual cold voice, she took a glance before going back to her work.

“No, it’s okay President” the janitor responds to Elaine with a slight smile on his face as he cleans the broken glasses, although the president is aloof and has a tendency of throwing things, they still understand her. Almost all of the employees of Ashford inc. prefer Elaine as their president instead of Elaine’s father.

An hour has passed and Elaine finished working on her works for the document, she felt a vibration coming from her phone. She took a look at her phone and slight frown as she read the message that was sent from one of her friends.

She took her phone back to the table and stand up, she went to her coffee machine and took a coffee before taking a sip

“Tanya are you ready?” Athy’s voice came from her Tanya’s phone speaker as her phone was placed on her wardrobe while she fixes her wig, she looks at herself in her mirror as she fixes her wig.

“Wait, I’ll be ready for a sec” Tanya responded to Athy with a slight frown on her face as she keeps fixing her wig, it took her quite a while to be satisfied with her look as a man. Tanya flickered her beige trench coat; Tanya wore a black turtle neck with a pair of trench coats and black pants with a binder on her chest to hide her boobs.

Tanya could be called a handsome man in her current appearance; her cute and innocent appearance change to a mature handsome innocent man.

“I’m Done” Tanya informed Athy who is on a video call. “Let me see! You even make up yourself, I need to know what you look like~” Athy spoke with a playful tone in her voice.

Tanya took her phone and flip the camera to the back to let Athy see her full body in the mirror, as soon as Athy saw her look, she let out a shrill scream.

“Is that you?! You don’t look like yourself at all and oh my gosh! You look so handsome!! Let me date you~!” Athy screamed in excitement as she saw Tanya’s look, at the end of her sentence she changes her tone from excitement to playful as she jokes about dating.

Tanya blush as she heard her compliment, little does she know that Athy took a picture of her current look.

“Ahem! Is this okay? Surely, they would think I’m a guy, right?” she nervously asks as she scratches her neck, she looks more handsome and innocent when she did this action that Athy took another picture before speaking.

“Of course!! Just lower your voice slightly” Athy replied as she gave advice, in the screen you can see her getting a thumbs up to Tanya.

“Like this?” this time, Tanya lowered her voice as she asks for confirmation from Athy.

“Like that! Girl, if you’re a man, I would fall in love this instant and date you! Heck, I fell in love with you now!” Athy prattled to Tanya. Even though Tanya knew that it was just a joke, her gay heart couldn’t help but flutter to Athy’s word.
