A letter from Alice

The days where Mike worked as an engineer where he meet Alice because she is his partner in bridge project she is away from her family. After all, these similarities both of them are getting close and interested in each other and it happens slowly where everyday they talk and taking lunch together.

 Until it comes that only one year their project will be done and this is where Alice confesses to Mike thru letter it was her who moves first although Mike decided to do it first in their two months left in Alice letter.

Said:" Hi, Mike I like the things that I know about you honestly its quite rare to find an introvert person who doesn't do many friends and going out every weekends night the way you do painting and sketch I love watching you, by the way, thank you for the sketch that you made for me, Hey I want to tell you something I like you since I first saw you I didn't expect that we can be close maybe I'm telling you this quite late because I can't just face you for a long time also where I don't know if you like me too but anyway whatever may come to this confession letter I will still remember your goodness and this bridge project that we made remembering of ours".

Because of this Mike smiled and drinks his coffee then said this “Alice, Alice... Yes I'm an introverted person I also wish to confess first but here you move first I like you too and you're my Monalisa that's why I sketched your face."

And the next working day they meet Mike look ahead to Alice staring at her eyes then back to her forehead while walking forward as Alice notice his move she feel nervous thinking that maybe Mike is mad or will say that he had already a girlfriend or what as Mike reach in front of her " hi, are you vacant in this night? I just want to take you out and talk about the letter also about us maybe I'm too cheeky this moment asking you a date because I never ask a girl to a date since."

While he saying this in front of her Mike can't stare firmly to Alice eyes noticing this shy act from him this made Alice smile and say "I see Mike, I understand.. And yes I'm down at eight pm."

Alice replied shortly to him because she can't also stand to Mike and this date is what she waiting for a long time since she meets Mike.

They meet in hilltop café where the city is in overview also the project bridge they made, As their dinner night went good Mike take Alice to the top hill where the overview is more attractive they see the seas and how wide the city then Mike take a few step ahead of where they stand.

"Alice someday if we getting old either you will be destined to me or not I will always remember this place and walk every morning to that project bridge we construct."

Then Alice take a few steps to Mike she holds his hand then stare to him. “Mike, I promise no matter what I'm always here for you where every day I choose you and stay." then Mike turn to Alice and stare to her eyes "thank you, Alice, honestly I'm always praying to meet a girl like you."

Then he hold her hand tightly and slowly putting his right hand to her back neck as Mike slowly pull Alice he then kisses her forehead their dinner date night went romantic and more than what they expect.

As they are in their bed they can't stop thinking about the dinner date next morning they meet in their couple of days before their project will end Mike and Alice stay professional in the workplace but during break time and out of work they will show that they have something connection from construction workers to co-engineer they see something to them but they have no problem with them as they expect that both of them is already a couple the thing is Mike and Alice decided to become a couple later when their bridge project will end.

One night where Mike Visits Alice in her place she didn't expect his visit "hey Mike come in is there anything you need?" Alice ask as she dazed to his visit but Alice observe that Mike is flushed also smell like alcoholic drink noticing these things she put Mike to bed and ask him "what happen?"

And Mike started to tell her with a mournful face "my special treasure the only source of my motivation to work hard also giving me a purpose Alice please be the love of my life I have nothing to be with me." Then Mike cry because he has been an argument with his family and decided to drink till gets drunk to forget the prejudicial words he hears from their arguments.

While Alice listening to Mike later of his telling she then Hugs him and comforts by saying "everything will be okay just take some rest or sleep."

As Alice hugged him for a few minutes he fell asleep an hour later Alice wakes up to prepare food for him while preparing the food she then remembers Mike's favorite food she includes it in her dish, not a long minute's Mike wakes up and he smells his favorite food noticing that Alice is gone in his side and thinking that for sure she is in the kitchen he then go to the kitchen and there he sees Alice cooking as he watches her he ask.

"Alice, you know the flavor of my favorite food? I mean it’s okay I smell the standard flavor."

Then Alice takes one spoon of his favorite soup. And she serve it to mike's mouth then he smiled and Alice stare at him and smiled too "you know Mike I don't even know what your favorite taste like but I'm cooking by following the right measure of ingredients anyway I didn't see your face cracking when taste it."

Then she laughs and Mike holds her hand he kiss it "Alice thank you, stay and be with me I'll do everything for us be the love of my life?" And Alice stare to him for a while "yes Mike".
