Monday came too soon, she was back at her corner office when Yegor send a text from an unknown number telling her to check her email.
Yesterday he had told her that he had his guy set up a secure line for sending details regarding the gun shipment that he had promised her.
She was well aware that he might be doing it not just because of the sneaky agreement with her, but also because in the cruel Mafia business they would give tips to authorities just to eliminate their rivals.
Though guns were not his thing, but new player entering his area was still viewed as a threat to the Sokolov cartel. And Karla was not that naive to think otherwise.
She also didn't know how, but Yegor gave her what she needed the most to be on the good side with her superior.
That afternoon after gathering her facts and information from her Russian drug kingpin lover, she knocks on her boss' office door.
