It was three days later, Karla was browsing the pretty dolls section when his nickname appeared on her phone. She smiled at the initials bf and slide to pick up his call.
"Kiska...you're not back to your apartment. What are you doing in a mall?"
She lets out a soft laugh to his possessive tone and fiddled with her ring finger. Karla knows he had planted a tracker on the diamond ring and she knows it drives him crazy every time he finds out she's not where she was supposed to be.
And sometimes she likes to mess with his head then smile when it only takes less than half an hour for him to call and check up on her.
"It's the twins' birthday tomorrow, I'm trying to find their gifts..." she paused when she saw a baby doll and her hand unconsciously touched her flat belly.
