My fiancé, Alpha Caleb, had an Omega secretary. One day, she took the Thorne pack's black card on a massive shopping spree in the luxury district. She even mocked me in a high-end salon. She called me a useless Rogue with no background—just a leech clinging to the Alpha. I snapped and cut off her access. She tried to pay. The card declined. She became the laughingstock of the pack. The Enforcers even detained her in the holding cells for a whole day and night. Caleb found out. He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. His hot Alpha breath hit my neck. He bit my earlobe gently. "Aurelia, stop acting like a jealous little she-wolf. You have no manners. You embarrassed her in front of the whole pack." He didn't scold me. He acted normally. Until our anniversary night. He booked the Cloud Room, the most exclusive restaurant downtown. He ordered dozens of vintage wines and expensive caviar, promising a celebration with the core pack members. "Honey, I need to take a call. I will be right back." I waited and waited. The restaurant was about to close. No sign of him. No sign of his so-called friends. I pulled out his supplementary card to pay the bill. The manager looked at me coldly. "Miss, your card is frozen."

Chapter 1

"Frozen?"

Caleb gave me this card. He took my main card before we left.

He mentioned our anniversary. He insisted on paying.

I felt so touched. I thought I finally found a caring Alpha mate.

Now he was gone.

He had completely blocked our mind-link.

I called him dozens of times. No answer.

This card had to work. Otherwise, I was in deep trouble.

The manager's respectful look vanished. Pure annoyance replaced it.

"Miss, do you have another card? Let me be clear. We don't do tabs. You saw our rules just last month. Right?"

Of course I remembered.

Last month, Caleb's Omega secretary visited. Valerie swiped his card here like crazy. She called me a worthless Rogue.

Could it be...?

A bad feeling gripped my heart. A setup. I knew it.

Caleb wanted to avenge her. He wanted to teach me a lesson.

Right then, heels clicked outside. A sickeningly sweet scent followed. Valerie's Omega scent.

I whipped my head around. Caleb walked in.

His arm wrapped around a smirking Valerie. His shirt was slightly unbuttoned. He reeked of her scent.

A group of Thorne pack elites followed them. They all stared at me, ready for a show.

"Aurelia, you love watching people fail to pay their bills," Caleb sneered.

"Now it is your turn. Experience it for yourself."

The room exploded into whispers and laughs.

"That is Aurelia. A Rogue with no pack. Alpha Caleb was blind to choose her as his fiancée. Now he is finally teaching her a lesson. He brought his new girl to watch her crash and burn."

"Hahaha, look at her! See the consequences? Dirty blood but still acting so arrogant."

"Exactly. A lone wolf only has her looks. The Alpha found a younger, obedient she-wolf. Her good days are over."

I slowly clenched my fists. The humiliation burned through me.

Just as I thought. Caleb dug this massive hole for me. All for Valerie.

Caleb led Valerie to the main table. He pulled out a chair for her.

He looked down at me. Waiting for me to beg.

"Don't worry, Valerie," Caleb said.

"I will make her pay double. She will suffer for humiliating you."

Valerie's face lit up. She turned and planted a hot kiss on Caleb's cheek.

"Thank you, Caleb."

Then she glared at me. Her eyes were full of malice. "Aurelia, you are a loser. You can't even shift properly. You have no right to cut off my card."

She grabbed an expensive vintage wine from the table. She smashed it right at my feet.

Crash!

Cold wine splashed onto my face. I looked pathetic.

"Hahaha, you deadbeat! Caleb is paying for me now. I can smash a hundred bottles. But you? You are finished."

Caleb gave me an arrogant smirk. He was in total control.

"Stop glaring at me like a killer. Pay the bill and leave. Do you have the money? Or, admit your jealousy. Call yourself a bitch. Then I might help you."

The mocking voices behind them grew louder.

"Hahaha, a Rogue with money? Good joke."

"Look at all that food. Look at the open vintage bottles. The bill will ruin her."

"She leeches off the Thorne pack. Without Caleb, she is nothing."
