Alpha Williams POV

It crushed my heart to see Maya lay down on that table.

It broke my wolf to hear her cry. To see the horror in her face each time I lifted the cane.

Each time I kissed her beautiful bearing skin. It was hurting me more than it hurt her, but it had to be done.

“Ninety seven.”

“Ninety eight.”

“Ninety nine…”

And then in unism, everyone in the dinning chorused, “A hundred!”

I casted the cane so far off, it felt like I had been holding a metal rod all this while. Like it burned to be flogging her.

“Ah.” I heard her groan. When I turned to look I saw Maya getting off the table. She staggered off as both feet touched the ground. No one offered to helped, most of the other maids laughed.

I saw Maya struggle for a while before I yelled at the guards to help her.

“Get her out of my sight" was more appropriate. That was, it didn't show how much I cared.

They rounded around her side again, lifting her up and off the floor.
