I was standing when I saw my Alpha, but my body was tense to see Helena.

“She spent the night with me,” he said.

“But—”

“We’ll talk after breakfast. But, for now, let’s eat first.” My Alpha pointed at the table.

“Alpha—”

My body was trembling. It was the first time our Alpha used a cold tone like that to me. I immediately bent my head and mumbled, “My apologies, Alpha.”

“Good! It’s time you know your place.”

I glared at Helena. It was because of her! Our Alpha had never been so cold to me. NEVER! Both of them spent the night together, and he changed drastically. She should have told Alpha something.

Ernie came with scrambled eggs, sausages, toasted bread, bacon, ham, and beans. The smell was delicious, and Helena’s stomach sounded immediately.

Our Alpha laughed and rubbed her tummy. “Be patient. Soon, your stomach will be filled.”

Helena blushed. “Yes, for sure.”

“But it doesn’t surprise me after last night.” Our Alpha winked his ey
