Chapter 39: Stranger

The man's tall, lean figures sauntered down the steps with a commanding confidence and effortless mystery radiated off of him. The glow of the crimson lights illuminated his sharp hard features as he reached the bottom. Long wild waves were strewn around his jaw, and his leather jacket covered his shoulders.

Gray didn't know if it was the drinks because she just inhaled, overwhelming her senses, but the man before him was the most captivating man she had ever seen.

She felt like everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. Gray's nerves in her stomach swirled as she watched him walk through the crowds, stopping and talking to some people. The twisting in her stomach only escalated when she saw his intoxicating smile break across his face.

Gray visibly swallowed as her wolf started to pace. She wetted her lips as she watched the man's hand ruffle his tangled hair as his jaw flexed as he spoke.

She knew right then the man was a werewolf. If not, her wolf would never react like that
