Chapter 79: Epilogue

Grey woke up with Judah’s arms still wrapped tightly around her. He was snoring lightly, and amid all of their late-night activities, he had forgotten to put his hair up, so now it was all over them.

She smiled and slowly turned around to face him, running her fingers behind his right ear and feeling the mark she made identical to the one he had given her the day they met.

Grey used to be upset with the circumstances she had been marked, but as she fell for Judah, she forgave him and was grateful regardless. The fact that she was his no matter what made her happy. She felt a sense of pride that he now unarguably belonged to her.

Grey looked towards the windows. The sun was still breaking the horizon, and she wanted to get up and start her day early with Judah, but she let him sleep. Being marked will make you sleep heavily, whether you like it or not. It’s the body’s way of coping with immense pain.
