Chapter 73: The Plan

Gray was lying on her bed, suffering from a burn on her ankle. She tried many ways to prevent the sliver from touching her skin, but it was futile. She can't find any thin cloth that fits the space between the shackle and her ankle's skin. She wanted Ana to visit her again, but to no avail; a male guard would often bring food for her.

"Where is Ana?" she once asked the guard, but the guard only glared at her saying shut up.

Since Ana told her to eat her food, Gray had to follow her; otherwise, she'd die from starvation before she could even escape from the hell hole, she was in.

With each passing day, Gray waits for Ana to come, but the girl is not shown yet. Gray sometimes can't help thinking that maybe she had already escaped and left her behind, or worse, she was probably killed. Gray shook her head. She had put her trust in her, and her words were reassuring. But where is she? What happened to her?

She was scratching the burnt skin of her ankle when the door of her room opened,
