Chapter 17

Vivian slowly opened her eyes, taking in to her surroundings. For a moment, she thought she had died and was in heaven but thinking about it since she took her life she should be in hell. Her beautiful body should be burning in a very hot fire by now, right?

She sat up, resting her body on a tree. She gazed through her surroundings, confused and scared. She had no idea how she ended up in the forest when she could have sworn she ended up in a river.

Looking around, she couldn't see any river , instead she was surrounded by trees.

Her brows furrowed in confusion, trying to remember what happened but more importantly how she ended up here. She couldn't help but find it funny that no matter how hard she tried to kill herself, she was saved one way or the other. She would die anyway, so what was the use of keeping her alive?

"You are awake," a soft voice sounded beside Vivian.
