Olivia POV

I stepped inside the abandoned store.

The moment I crossed the doorway, the atmosphere changed.

It was colder inside.

Much colder than it should have been.

I stopped for a moment.

My eyes adjusted to the darkness as I looked around.

Broken shelves were scattered across the room, most of them covered in thick layers of dust.

Empty wooden boxes were stacked against the walls, and several old pieces of furniture had been left behind, their surfaces covered in cobwebs.

Olivia POV I stepped inside the abandoned store. There was nothing here — no merchant nor customers, and no sign that anyone had been operating this place recently. "Amelia!" I called out, my voice echoing through the empty building. No response. "Amelia!" I called again. Still nothing. Linda remained close behind me all this while. I could feel her fingers gripping the back of my clothes. I walked deeper into the store. "Amelia!" But still nothing. I examined the floor and discovered that dust covered almost every inch of it. There were no f

Olivia POV“I’m taking everything,” I replied to the merchant.“Miss, are you sure?” he asked, surprised.“This could cost you a lot,” he added, a crafty glint flashing in his eyes.“Take this.”I threw a pouch of gold coins at him.“This should be enough for everything, right?”His eyes glinted with joy and excitement as soon as he caught the pouch and looked inside, but he quickly composed himself.“This is barely enough, Miss, but since you’re buying everything—”“No buts, Mr.” I cut him off.“Don’t piss me off,” I warned, my aura flaring slightly as i could already guess what he was going to say next.I hated greedy people the most.“Now answer my questions, and if you utter any nonsense or lie to me, I’ll have your stall demolished immediately,” I threatened.“Speak, Miss. I will answer honestly.”He shivered under the pressure of my imposing aura.“The little girl that was here a few moments ago.”“Where is she?” I asked.“She went in that direction.”He pointed south.“And?”“I

  • The Alpha King's Plus Size Mate    Where Did She Go

Olivia POVThe marketplace was crowded, but Amelia seemed to have learnt her way around quickly. She could easily navigate through the sea of people rushing about as if the world was coming to an end.And maybe it was, considering the threat hanging over our heads—one they were completely unaware of.Funny enough, a thought came to my mind.If I announce that an Evil God is on the verge of wiping out the entire world and plunging it into darkness, would they believe me?Would they stop their bickering and fights over cheaper goods and wares displayed on the shelves?Would they unite as one and fight back against the Evil God?I looked around. Many people were admiring beautiful dresses and negotiating prices with the sellers. Some had money and were shouting out ridiculously high numbers, worth far more than the actual goods, simply to intimidate others.Others could only watch from the sidelines, probably because they couldn’t afford what they wanted. If I tell these people that they

  • The Alpha King's Plus Size Mate    Who Are You Afraid Of?

Olivia POV"Linda," I called again. She immediately lowered her hand."Yes?""Your wrist."Her face changed."What happened to it?"I reached toward her hand, but she instinctively pulled it away. That reaction made my heart tighten.I didn't move closer or try to pressure her, but simply looked at her."Did someone hurt you?"She went completely still."No…." She stammered. The answer came too quickly, and I knew that she was lying, but I didn't expose her.I wanted her to feel free and relaxed enough to trust me with her difficulties."Okay," I replied. She looked surprised and confused for a moment."You believe me?""Yes.""And no."Her eyes widened.I smiled faintly."But I won't force you to tell me."She lowered her gaze."Thank you.""For what?""For everything."I studied her face. There was fear in her eyes. Not fear of me, but dread of remembering something she was trying so hard to bury deep inside her."Linda," I called softly."When I was just a helpless and unwanted, we

Olivia POVThe carriage slowed as we entered the village.Amelia immediately sat upright, her eyes widening as she looked through the window.“We’re here!”I laughed.“You would think you’ve never seen a village before.”“I haven’t”.“I haven’t been outside the sacred Abode before and when I finally left I was holed up in the Moon Temple for so long!”She turned toward me with an excited expression.“Big sister, where are we going first?”“Didn’t you say you wanted to play?”“Yes!”“Then why are you asking me?”“Because you’re the one who knows where all the fun places are.”I stared at her.“When did I ever say I knew where all the fun places were?”Amelia shrugged innocently.“You’re the First Moon heir. You should know everything.”I narrowed my eyes.“That sounds suspiciously like flattery.”“It isn’t.”“It definitely is.”She giggled mischievously.Linda, who had been quietly watching us, covered her mouth as a small laugh escaped her.I turned toward her.“There. I finally got y

Olivia POVBack to the Present"My lady," she called."I have already told you to feel free and at ease with me. You don't have to bow or be so uptight whenever nobody is around," I said to her, feigning a frown."You are coming with me on this trip.""Hope you are ready?""Yes, Luna, my lady."I raised my brows."Sorry, Olivia," she corrected herself."Good."I smiled, taking her hands in mine while Amelia held the other."There's a lot we need to talk about and catch up on over the last few years," I thought to myself.Especially the origin of those bruises and wounds on her body that she tries to cover every time we are together.I had noticed them the very first day she returned to my side — faint marks along her wrist, a fading discoloration near her collarbone that she always seemed to angle away from me whenever she caught me looking. She never spoke of them, and every time I tried to bring it up gently, she found a way to steer the conversation elsewhere. Today, somewhere betw
