Chapter Thirty.

I didn’t get much sleep last night after what happened between Bane and me. As hard as it is for me I’m going to let him go.

He deserves to be happy.

I walk down the hall and mumble a few words to Agatha and seconds later I hear Charles loud groans. I made my way to the kitchen where mama and Katie were preparing breakfast, Carol had to have knee surgery and will be out for awhile.

But Mama doesn’t mind though, she loves cooking.

“Caliana, are you hungry?”

I nodded. I haven’t eaten much and I was starving.

My baby also needed the nutrients from my meals to grow.

Aunt Katie sat a plate of food in front of me and the smell caused me to vomit on the bar. I covered my mouth and ran into the bathroom.

When I returned to the kitchen Charles was there waiting.

“Join me for breakfast?” He asked.
