Chapter Twenty-Nine.

Bane followed at a distance as Charles and I walked around the grounds of the palace. I was going to try and talk to Charles and hope he would understand and let things go….in hopes it doesn’t turn violent between us.

“It’s a little dark. Why don’t you make some floating lights above us?” Charles said.
