What was happening? Our parents were acting weird, and now this? After Violet's guards suddenly left, mine followed. Something terrible was happening—I could feel it—but I couldn't seem to figure out what.

"Isn't this really strange? Why would all four of them leave at almost the same time?" Violet said, looking confused and worried.

"Why do you seem unhappy about it? You're supposed to be jubilating. Maybe both Alpha Kings have finally decided to settle their disputes and allow the both of you be," Daisy muttered.

It wasn't a curse, but my dad and Silas would never settle their differences. They hated each other too much for that.

"No, I do not think that is it," Indie said, shaking her head.

"Whatever the reason may be, let's not allow it ruin our fun," Daisy huffed as she continued eating the ice cream in the bowl.

I glanced at her, raising my brow. "Why are you here, taking ice cream? What's up with you, Daisy?"
