Chapter 30

FLINT.

Looking at her angry face made me happy; she was nothing but a useless one! I should have looked very well before leaping and getting engaged to this heartless people pleaser.

She frowned at me and hit the table.

“I…. I will make sure you regret it!” She said, stammering as she was being swallowed with anger.

I laughed at her face and stood up slowly, taking my time. She looked at me with her boiling expression. I really did not care about what she was doing with her expression!

“You… you are not capable of making me regret anything, and the worst that could happen has happened. I have married the worst mistake of my life!” I said to her face as I held her face.

I brought her face so close to me, and her expression became calmer. She was getting so red in her face, and I was loving the calm look on her face.

I moved closer and left only an inch of distance between us.

“What do you think, Miss Kiara? You left your husband for two days and you didn't care; are you guilty?” I said with the sexiest voice she can possibly hear.

I could feel her legs were shaky, and she was more attracted to my voice and the face coming so close to her than the words of my words.

“Yes, I am, Flint!” She stammered with the tiniest bit of her voice. I laughed and moved down from her face to her chest.

She swallowed hard under my gaze, but I knew what she wanted and how she felt. I didn't stop.

“Are you sure you are guilty, or are you just saying nonsense?” I asked her questions as my hand was roaming her body. Touching every part of her with a light finger, leaving nothing but memories.

She swallowed even harder as she felt my touch.

“I am so sorry, Flint; I will never do that again!” She said, and I smiled and looked back at her face.

She was all red and blushing; tiny sweat was dripping from her forehead, and I gently wiped it off with my hand, and she smiled.

“Flint, you know I miss you and I want you, and I want to have my man, but you have been acting off!” She said, and I smiled.

Without responding to her words, I pulled my hand from her head and went straight to the back of her head.

She was surprised but still gently stood in her spot, enjoying the cool breeze and the touch, forgetting she was yelling about the room a second ago.

I rubbed her neck and the back of her head for a while before grabbing her neck with full force. My smile turned into a wicked grin, and her face turned pale.

I was frightened, and I was happy. She looked confused and scared at the same time. She is a wounded wolf at this point, as I caught her at her lowest time and pinned her down.

“Flint…” She managed to speak, but I didn't care; I held her still, and she coughed out.

“Don't you ever speak to me like you are the boss. I am your husband, the Alpha of this very pack, and I will do everything and anything I want to do without you, trust me!” I said to her face.

She couldn't speak anymore, but that wasn't any of my business, as I wasn't even bothered about her. She was acting all mighty the other time, and I just wanted to teach her a very small lesson to know who the boss of this house is.

I have heard rumors that women become the lord of the house once they are married, and I am sure that is what she is trying to do!

I angrily threw her away, and she landed on her butt, coughing so hard. I didn't care at all. I rolled my eyes and turned my back towards her.

“Flint! Flint!” She coughed and spoke with a broken voice, and I still didn't answer her at all.

“I thought you loved me!” She said, and I laughed.

“What makes you think I love you?” I asked her, looking back at her pitiful body with anger.

She looked like a mess, and she is still very proud of a lot of things that I don't understand. She is not the woman I wanted at all. She is the woman who was at my disposal and the woman they all supported.

“You defended me. Every time, you made it known that I am your woman, and you made all the maids respect me. The entire clan respects me, and now you are saying…” she said, parting her chest.

She still couldn't get over her pain and the fact that I choked her just now. I laughed as I looked at her.

“You pathetic loser. I did what every man would have done. You were the mate chosen by my parents, and you were the better option, so yes, I chose you.” I spoke, and there was immediately an awkward silence.

“I defended you because I was going to choose you, but guess what, you are not the woman in my heart,” I added, not caring about the fact that she was already crying.

“You are not the woman I want or the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. You are just a substitute, a figurehead.” I continued. 

“Someone better on the outside!” I broke her heart speaking to her without a single care on my face or in my heart.

I am pretty much high, and I am liable to say everything as it is in my heart and my head.

She softly wiped her tears before looking at me with a very tense gaze. She wasn't crying anymore. She was just acting brave on the outside, and I am certain she is not as brave as she is acting at the moment.

She slowly stood up from where she was sitting and faced me.

“Who is she?” She asked.
