Rachel’s pov

Immediately after I got home, I went straight to my room. I changed and left for the shower. I was done shortly, put on some light clothes, and climbed back to bed.

Mary and I did a video call, and we talked for a while. Most of our chats lighten up my mood.

We talked about what happened today between Scott and me.

“Rachel, can I ask you a question?”

“Spill it out.” I answered.

“Do you have feelings for Scott?”

I haven’t even asked myself that question. Do I really have feelings for Scott? I shouldn’t have. I don’t think he has feelings for me. So even if I have, Maybe it’s just a waste of feelings.

“I don’t think I have feelings for him, Mary.” I wasn’t quite sure yet.

“Rachel I think Scott likes you; from what happened today, he really cares for you. So start having feelings, girl.”

“What if he is doing that out of pity or because of how David is treating me?" I won’t really confirm that he has feelings for me.
