Chapter Seven: Follow Your Heart

"No..like how..can she be your mate" Leonard stuttered.

"I don't know but that's it" Donald muttered and Leonard scoffed before walking out of the library.

"It is not true, right?" Elena asked Donald.

"Sorry but it's true" Donald replied with a smirk then he walked out.

"No, it can't be true" Elena shook her head in disbelief.

Immediately Leonard walked out of the library, he went straight to the parking lot, he got in his car and drove out of the school.

Some minutes later, he drove into his mansion then he stopped the car before coming out of it, he walked into the mansion and went upstairs to his room straight, banging the door loudly. He went to the bed and sat down, sighing, he shoved his hand in his hair.

"I'm f**King confused, how can she be his mate? How is that possible?" he said, inwardly.

"Hey, you don't believe Donald, do you?" Alfred asked in his head.

"I don't know, maybe it's true because he keeps saying she is not my mate" Leonard replied.

"It doesn't matter, look..I know my mate when I see her" Alfred said.

"Maybe you are confused" Leonard muttered.

"So what are you trying to say?" Alfred asked.

"I don't know..maybe we should lay low for now" Leonard replied.

"Lay low for what? Are you crazy! She is our mate" Alfred yelled.

"Yeah but she is also Donald's mate, I can't fight with him over his mate" Leonard said.

"Seriously" Alfred scoffed and the door opened, Donald walked in.

"Hey bro" he said.

"Hey" Leonard muttered.

"Is she really your mate?" He asked.

"Yeah" Donald replied.

"But.."

"She is my mate Leo, I think you should get it" Donald said and there was silence.

"Wait..you don't even treat her like your mate" Leonard spoke up.

"She is an omega, I don't need an omega as my mate" Donald replied.

"What, how can say that about your mate" Leonard said in disbelief.

"Yes, she is my mate, mine, I choose what to do with her" Donald said and walked out.

"This guy is unbelievable" Leonard shook his head.

Elena was coming out of the restaurant where she works when she heard Cora's voice in her mind.

Come over to the pack house

Elena replied.

"Why does she want me to come to the pack house?" Elena said, inwardly.

"Who knows" she shrugged and started walking to the pack house.

Minutes later, she got to the pack house and she went in, as she was walking to the kitchen, she came across Madelyn.

"Hey b***h" Madelyn said and Elena bit her lips in fear.

"I see you are getting scared but don't worry, ain't got your time now" Madelyn smirked before walking past her.

Elena breath out in relief before continuing her walk to the kitchen, she saw Cora on her way.

"Aunt" Elena smiled.

"Hey baby girl" Cora smiled back.

"So why did you ask me to come here?" Elena asked.

"To eat dinner" Cora replied.

"Huh"

"Yeah, your brother told me to make sure you eat well" Cora said.

"What!" Elena said, surprised.

"Yeah" Cora nodded.

"Seriously, my brother is something else" Elena shook her head and Cora chuckled.

"Come on now, let's go" she said and started walking while Elena trailed behind.

When they got to the kitchen, they went in.

"Sit" Cora said to Elena and went to the dining table in the kitchen before sitting down.

Cora brought some chicken to the table.

"Woah!! Chicken" Elena exclaimed.

"I know you would love it" Cora smiled.

"Awwwwn thanks Aunt" Elena muttered.

"Ya welcome, let me get the other dish" Cora said and walked to the counter, she came back with a plate of spicy pasta before dropping it on the table.

"Thanks Aunt" Elena smiled, lightly.

"You don't look fine, what's wrong?" Cora asked and Elena sighed.

"Is it possible to have two mates?" Elena muttered.

"What! Two mates? Why do you ask?" Cora asked.

"I think I have two mates" Elena said.

"What!" Cora shouted.

"Yeah and I am so confused" Elena muttered.

"How come you have two mates? how did it happen?" Cora asked at once.

"I'm not sure but it happened and it happened to be the Alpha Princes" Elena said.

"That's bad" Cora sighed.

"I know but do you think it's possible, like having two mates?" Elena asked.

"I don't know...but how do you feel when you see them?" Cora asked back.

"I feel attracted to them and my heart beats for them both, even Lia calls them mate when she sees them" Elena replied.

"Then that means they are your mate, I don't know what trick the moon goddess is trying to play but from what you said right now, it means they are your mate" Cora said.

"But how do you expect me to cope with two mates...how come?" Elena muttered, a tear slipping out of her eyes.

"Hey don't cry, just follow your heart" Cora said, hugging her while Elena cried more.

"Stop crying Elena, stop" Cora said as she pat her.

****THE ALFONSO'S RESIDENCE****

Elena left the pack house a while ago and is back home, she is currently under the shower, having her bath.

"What do I do?" she said inwardly.

"Is it about the Alpha Princes?" Lia asked.

"Yeah..like having two mates..that's crazy" Elena said.

"I know but like aunt Cora said, we should follow our hearts and besides Prince Leonard doesn't seem to like us, he has insulted us like two times now but Leonard is sweet and he seems to care about us" Lia muttered.

"You are right" Elena mumbled.

"Let's just focus on Leonard for now, okay?" Lia said.

"Sure" Elena nodded and turned off the faucet, she wrapped a towel around her body before walking out of the bathroom.

****MONDAY, CRESCENT MOONSTONE PACK COLLEGE****

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

Elena walked out of the class with CeCe and Carina, they just finished having a class.

"Girls, I was thinking...we should have a sleepover at Elena's house tomorrow" Carina spoke up.

"Yeah, it would be much better since Liam is not around" CeCe said in agreement.

"Okay" Elena mumbled.

"Hey, what's wrong? You seem off today" Carina asked.

"I'm fine, I need to go to the restroom" Elena said.

"Okay, meet us in the cafeteria" CeCe said.

"Okay" Elena nodded before walking away.

"Is she okay?" Carina asked CeCe.

"I don't know" Elena shrugged.

Elena entered the female restroom, she eased herself before coming out, she washed her hands before walking out. As she was walking to the cafeteria, she saw Leonard coming and she smiled expecting him to talk to her but he just walked past her without saying anything to her.

"Huh..what's going on?" She said, inwardly, she stood there for a minute before continuing her walk to the cafeteria. As she did, she bumped into someone.

"Oh..I'm sorry" she muttered and looked up.

"Alpha Prince" she bowed when she saw Donald.

"Are you okay?" Donald asked and her eyes widened.

"Huh"

"Seems you are" Donald smiled before walking away.

"What...just happened"
