One month later

I am currently in the hospital. I was admitted two days ago since my due date is two days from now. I miss going to bed with Maverick, I really hate being in hospitals for long. When I was younger, before I found out I was a Lycan, I used to get sick with human illnesses and was in and out of the hospital.

Ever since then I have hated being in hospitals for more than two days. Maverick comes to see me every day. Actually, it is more like he does not leave my side until it is for me to go to bed. I am sure he misses me in his bed also. Judging from the bags beneath his eyes, he has not been sleeping well either.

I am currently laying on the bed with one of the books that Maverick brought for me to keep my mind occupied while I was here so that boredom would not drive me crazy. Maverick is asleep in the chair by my bed. I look up from my book and study his face as he sleeps, all of a sudden, I feel a cramp in my stomach.
