Speaking to each pack Alpha in our region in turn, chatting to each one like they were a friend. Knowing details of their family and their pack. He was good. I know the routine, having been an Alpha myself, but I don’t think I ever made that much effort, other than remembering their names. Jackson, however had a page within in his notebook giving him information about each Alpha, their families and their pack, all of which he used when he spoke to them. So when they spoke to him it seemed he genuinely knew them and cared about their well-being. Had I not known of his notebook method I would never have questioned his genuineness, and I highly doubt that those chatting to him had either.
