ORION'S POV

“Orion, come with me to my chambers. Today, you have dinner with me. I'd like to hear precisely what transpired between you and the masked dealers. Come on.”

I followed my father, acknowledging that it had indeed been a long time since I ate together with him, alone. Deep down, I knew that a part of my father preferred me to my twin. But he never said it because he was a leader.

And a leader wasn't supposed to be partial.

I followed him, ignoring the blinding pain that was undergoing its healing process. For an instant, I found it difficult to get the image of the man I had just fought with out of my mind.

Yes, he was an ordinary wolf, but his use of his speed and his basic instincts told me all I needed to know about the masked dealers agency. If an ordinary wolf possessed such powers, then how about their leader?
