Lucian stood in the rain for three days and nights before he finally collapsed. He was thrown into an off-road vehicle by a group of half-breeds who found him.

When he woke up, he did not give up either. His regret had mutated into a frantic, obsessive desperation.

For the next week, caravans of rare treasures and lavish gifts arrived at Erick's pack grounds in a steady stream. He even issued a public proclamation across the packs to admit his wrongs and declare that I was his only true mate.

To me, everything he was doing was just harassment. Every gift was returned untouched, along with a letter that only had two words—"Stop it."

Half a month later, a grand ritual was held in the camp. I was arranged to be mates with pureblood Alpha Erick.
