Ariana, point of view...

When I heard someone enter the room, I was very worried. I was huddled between the sheets. I didn’t want anyone to notice that this madman had torn my only clothes almost completely.

He started talking and apologizing for his reaction and for what he did to me. I decided to confront him; it wasn’t right what he did to me, much less that he kidnapped me. I want my freedom; I want to leave this house.

I sat on the bed; I tucked myself completely with the bedsheets, and I looked him straight in the eyes, although my eyes were swollen from crying so much, I decided to stand firm, although with a lot of fear and sadness, but I would look him straight in the eyes, I noticed his nervousness when talking, we both argued, neither of us wanted to lose our reason.

“Please let me go, I have a life, and I have a house, which although it is not as luxurious as it is, it is still my house, I have fought hard to be where I am right now, please I want my freedom back, I know you will find your mate in another woman,” I beg him to let me be free, I was scared to death that he would try to be intimate with me again.

“No, I can’t, if I do my enemies would find you, and use you to blackmail me, I can’t let you go, and I don’t want you to go either, ask me for anything but that,” He answers me with some panic on his face, it was as if I was asking him for the impossible.

I give a sigh...

“Please, my love understand, I don’t want your life to be under danger, I don’t want to put my whole pack at risk either, I have too many enemies in other packs, and especially in the city, even if we have achieved peace with other clans, there are also those who were against that decision, and they wouldn’t hesitate for a second to hurt me or my pack”.

“But why not another girl, why me, I’m not even worthy to be with you, I don’t have a family, I don’t know who my parents are, I’m a human, I’m not strong, I have nothing to offer you,” I tell him very sincerely, trying to convince him to let me go, I think with everything I said, I most likely accepted, wolves are very hard when it comes to humans, they never want to have anything to do with humans, vampires or witches.

“Understand, I won’t let you go, I already know all that, I know perfectly well that you have no family, that you were abandoned outside the entrance of the city, that a witch found you, and took you even to an orphanage, I know perfectly well that they never made you feel good or comfortable in that place, I also know that when you turned 18, you started to work so you wouldn’t live in the street, and that everything you have you have achieved by yourself, for me that’s enough to be happy with a woman as strong as you,” she tells me being insightful, leaving me surprised at how much she knew about me.
