"Look who finally decided to show up! Welcome, Alpha Hunter," I greeted cheekily as Hunter walked in, with a falsely excited smile on my face.

"Get up and come out!" he commanded rudely almost immediately, and my smile dropped.

"Excuse me?" I cocked my head to the side, visibly confused and offended by his tone.

"Why are you telling me to get up and come out? Where to?" I asked, not hiding my irritation.

"Can you just get up and do as I asked before you start questioning me?" He hissed impatiently, and I scoffed.

"I get that you're the Alpha here, and you're probably used to commanding anyone however you like, but you're not going to speak to me like that and expect me to just listen to you without any questions. First, you'll have to explain to me why I need to get up and come out with you, and if you can't do that, then you can forget it," I reprimanded him snappily.
