Rosemary’s POV

I slowly opened my heavy eyes. The bright morning light hurt my sight, making me blink a few times. The smell of fire and ash was almost gone, replaced by the clean scent of fresh bedsheets and Kieran’s familiar wood scent.

I tried to move my left hand, but something heavy was holding it tight.

I turned my head on the pillow. Sitting on a small wooden chair right next to my bed was Kieran. The big, strong Alpha of Silver Moon was fast asleep. His broad shoulders were bent forward

Rosemary’s POV The morning sun shone bright through the high windows of Kieran's office. I sat on the soft leather couch, holding a warm cup of herbal tea. Kieran sat behind his big oak desk, reviewing map scrolls with Marcos. Next to the door stood Mina, looking clean and well-rested in simple pack clothes. "Sit down, Mina," I said gently, pointing to the chair near my couch. "You don't have to stand." Mina smiled shyly and took a seat. "Thank you, Luna Rosemary." Kieran set his pen down and looked up. "Marcus says you wanted to talk to us about Lucian's old territory." "Yes, Alpha," Mina said, her voice quiet but steady. "I know Alpha Lucian brought war to your gates, and I know his warriors fought your pack. But I need you to understand something about the people left behind in the mountains." "Go on," Kieran said, leaning back in his chair and listening closely. "Most of the people in the mountain pack are not evil," Mina explained, looking between Kieran and me. "

Rosemary’s POVThe door to our bedroom clicked shut, and the quiet room felt so safe. It smelled like fresh rain and Kieran’s warm wood scent.I sat down on the edge of our big bed and let out a long breath. Kieran walked over and sat right next to me. He took my hands in his big, warm fingers and looked into my eyes."Are you okay?" Kieran asked softly."I am," I said, leaning my head against his shoulder. "It just feels strange. Two days ago, everything was on fire. Elder Richard and Tanya... it felt like the end of our home."Kieran squeezed my fingers. "Richard was greedy, Rosemary. He thought working with the rogues would make him powerful. He only brought ruin to himself.""And Tanya..." I sighed, looking down at our hands. "I still cannot believe she did that. She was so angry and bitter.""Tanya made her own choices," Kieran said firmly. "She chose hatred. She tried to hurt you, and she tried to take away our future. I am sad for the girl she used to be, but I will never regre

Kieran’s POVThe door to the clinic room opened softly, and Doctor Thomas stepped inside carrying a tray of warm broth and fresh bread. He froze for a second when he saw Rosemary sitting up in bed, color back in her cheeks, and my heavy wooden chair knocked over on its side. A massive look of relief washed over the old doctor's face."Goddess be praised," Thomas said, setting the tray down on the small side table. "Luna Rosemary, you are awake.""I am, Doctor," Rosemary said, giving him a soft smile. "Thank you for taking care of me."Thomas pulled out his silver stethoscope and gave her a quick check. He listened to her heart, checked her eyes, and gently pressed his hand over her stomach. He looked back at me with a big, warm smile."Her pulse is steady and strong, Alpha," Thomas reported cheerfully. "And the baby's life force is bright and healthy. But her body burned through a massive amount of energy. She needs plenty of warm food, fresh water, and good rest for the next few days

But even while sleeping, his large fingers were wrapped tightly around my hand, refusing to let go.A small smile came to my face. Who would have thought the big, scary Alpha would look so soft sitting right by my bed?Slowly and carefully, I lifted my free right hand. I reached out and gently ran my fingers through his dark, messy hair, rubbing his head sof

  • The Alpha in My Dream    CHAPTER 121: WHISPERS OF THE ANCESTORS

Rosemary’s POVThe cold stone room and the heavy reek of ash vanished.I stood in the middle of a peaceful field under a beautiful night sky. There were no fires, no loud shouting, and no sound of clashing swords. Above me hung a huge silver moon that cast a soft, warm light over fields of glowing white flowers. The air smelled sweet, like fresh rain and flowers. It felt so quiet and safe."It is beautiful, isn't it?"A voice spoke behind me—soft, sweet, and very familiar. My heart beat fast as I turned around slowly. Standing a few steps away was a woman wearing a shining silver dress. Her dark hair fell softly over her shoulders, and her dark eyes were filled with love."Mother?" I whispered. My mother smiled, her eyes filled with happy tears as she opened her arms wide. "My brave girl."I ran across the field and threw my arms around her. She felt so warm and real. She smelled just like the wild flowers from my old home. I rested my face against her shoulder and cried softly, feeli

  • The Alpha in My Dream    CHAPTER 120: THE VIGIL OF THE ALPHA

Kieran’s POV "Get out of the way! Move!" My voice echoed through the stone corridors like thunder. I didn't care about the blood I was covered with, nor the bone-deep exhaustion aching in my limbs. I cared only about the pale, quiet weight in my arms. Rosemary lay motionless against my chest. Her skin was cool to the touch, her dark lashes resting still against her cheeks. She looked so tiny, so delicate, as if a sharp gust of wind might break her completely. I kicked open the heavy wooden doors of the primary clinic, nearly throwing the iron latch off its hinges. "Doctor!" I roared into the quiet wing, my golden Alpha authority vibrating through the high stone ceiling. "Where is he? Doctor Thomas!" A tall, grey-haired man scrambled out of the inner examination room, wiping his hands on a clean cloth. His eyes went wide as he saw me standing there, soaked in blood, holding the Luna. "Alpha Kieran!" Doctor Thomas gasped, rushing forward with two young nurses behind him. "Goddess
