Ares' pov

After she went into the bathroom, I found myself barking orders at the maids to get all of her favorites meals ready, before going back to the room.

I paced the room a few times, waiting for her to come out.

I couldn't hear any sound coming from her in the bathroom, and this pushed not only me but Pellar to the edge.

I knew I was meant to give her some time but she had been in there for close to an hour, the thoughts of her drowning in the bath from excessive tiredness, clawing at me till I couldn't take it anymore.

My resolve snapped, and my feet led me to the bathroom and I pushed the door open, panicked.

My eyes landed on wide hazel ones and even though the bubbles in the water covered every part of her up to her neck, I couldn't help the way my dick twitched as the water ran down her wet hair and face.

Her doe eyes stared at me expectantly, and while I realized I was gawking, I couldn't do anything about it.
