The Invitation

**Xavier's POV**

As I entered my office, my beta rushed over to greet me.

"Alpha Xavier, did you succeed in your plan?"

"Of course," I replied confidently, admiring my newly acquired weapon. My eyes gleamed with excitement as I held the weapon, considering it a prized possession. To me, it was the ultimate treasure. At that moment, all I could think about was testing my new weapon against our enemies.

"Tell me, Drake, did you capture any vampires for me?"

"Yes, Alpha. They are waiting in the dungeons for you to proceed with your tests."

"Excellent work, Drake."
