15: THE BANQUET III

Alpha Matrix was walking towards them and that began for people to look at them intently. They set aside what they are talking and doing and watch the two Alphas and the King Rogue who is standing in front of Alpha Arther. "What? I am asking you, Alpha Arther," Alpha Matrix asks once again after standing beside King Rogue Paxtro.

"Don't be too harsh on him, Alpha Matrix. I really don't mind that, it's just too surprising seeing Alpha Arther doing that. I heard that he is silent and dislikes events like this?" King Rogue Paxtro began to tease Alpha Arther. He calmed himself as he didn't want to cause another commotion at the Banquet especially since people were now looking at them. He needs to swallow his pride and ask for forgiveness from King Rogue so they won't be able to touch Letitia.

He was about to do that when suddenly Letitia spoke and bowed her head. "I would be the one to ask for forgiveness for what Alpha Arther did to you, Your Majesty."

She doesn't know why Arther growled at him but for sure it is something that King Rogue would try to make her embarrassed and be the hot topic in front of other people. Arther is trying to protect Letitia. She may want to ask about the prophecy they are talking about but she chooses not to. "Let us just celebrate the Banquet peacefully," Letitia speaks with a smile on her face.

"What? Alpha Arther must be the one to bow his head as he is the one who did something bad to the King Rogue. Don't tell me he just let his human mate bow for himself. Ridiculous! And you call yourself an Alpha? Aren't you ashamed of yourself, Alpha Arther?" Alpha Matrix speaks with a smirk on his face looking at them one by one.

"Well, I guess Alpha Arther is just using his human mate to shield what he had done tonight," Beta Arson came in and spoke looking at them smirking. Cashia was enraged after hearing all of it making her step forward and was about to speak but Beta Scott stopped her immediately.

"Let them be, Alpha Arther doesn't want to make another fight that is why he keeps his mouth shut. Let them talk," Beta Scott said his face looking at the three in front of them.

"Then why not bow to me and ask for my forgiveness as well, Alpha Matrix? Didn't your Beta just come into Alpha Arther's territory without his permission and try to kill me?" People at the banquet were shocked after what Letitia had said, even Arther, Scott, and Cashia.

"What did you say?" Alpha Matrix speaks while laughing sarcastically.

On the other hand, King Alpha Daelous was about to head in to stop the tension after hearing it from Beta Gavin but he stopped after hearing Letitia speak. He stood away from them watching the scene and trying to observe what will be the young lady would say.

"So you are saying that you don't want to take accountability for what you did to me? Is that how an Alpha should behave? You did something bad and Alpha Arther let it slide, right? He didn't let you give punishment. As far as I know, another pack should not just barge into another pack's territory without the Alpha's knowing or they will be punished severely. That law was enacted a few years ago to maintain peace for each pack and yet you break the law. You should be dead by now," Letitia answered him making him shut his mouth and gritted his teeth.

King Rogue Paxtro was shocked by what he had heard, as well as Queen Luna Tina. The law that Letitia stated is something that Alpha's should be put in their mind and yes, Alpha Matrix did commit a crime. The people in the banquet began to murmur again and now they are talking about Alpha Matrix. What happened was reversed in an instant. Alpha Matrix couldn't say a word after what Letitia had said.

"What do you know about us, huh? I barged into Alpha Arther's territory as my pack smelled something in his territory. What's more, he hid you without the King's knowledge. Doesn't he need to be punished as well? Letting you live in this Forest, a human?" Alpha Matrix asks her but Letitia just gives him a smirk and speaks.

"Give me the law then. I have already read many books relating to this Rasleton Forest but I have never read hiding a wounded human is prohibited. It is only prohibited if the human had weapons but did you see something from that small house? And if ever I have plans on attacking the Kingdom, why I can't fight for myself at that time when Beta Arson attacks me? Also if I am prohibited from living in this Kingdom, why does the King Alpha let me live here? Why didn't he kick me out? Do you mean you are also trying to oppose the King's decision?" All of them shut their mouth and cannot speak again.

Alpha Arther smiled after seeing and hearing it. Letitia might have a weak body but she is also something that could amaze people. King Rogue Paxtro just keeps on staring at Letitia. All of them were silent and no one tried to break the silence.

While Queen Luna Tina just looks intently at Letitia who is staring at Alpha Matrix and Beta Arson who is mow glaring at her. "She also had guts, huh?" Queen Luna Tina speaks as she keeps on staring at Letitia. "That woman isn't someone you can fool easily."

In a far place, King Alpha Daelous who was watching smiles looking at Letitia. Letitia piqued his interest making the King Alpha want to know more about her. He wanted to talk with Letitia and know what her mind was running to. Seconds later, after the silence, King Alpha Daelous decided to show up at the banquet. While he was walking, the announcer was shocked to see him walking with a serious expression. The announcer immediately told the man beside him to blow the horn.

"King Alpha Daelous is here!" All of them look at where King Alpha Daelous is and they immediately bow their heads. They were in shock as they didn't even sense his aura as they usually used to be King Alpha Daelous's strong aura.

"What is happening here?"
