It all happened so fast. One minute we were fighting on stage in wolf form, then the next we were in an open field. Hawk was dead set on killing the motherfucker that everything around us faded away. As soon as we were in the field, things changed. The atmosphere was different, almost like electricity crackling in the air. Beck’s wolf seemed bigger than it did moments ago, his muscles seemingly bigger than normal.

“Something’s off.” I said to Hawk as both wolves began to circle each other.

“I feel it too.” he commented, watching his prey like a hungry lion about to pounce. “Brace yourself.”

That was the only warning I got before Beck’s wolf. I believe his name is Tate, charged us with inhuman force. The moment our bodies made contact, I felt the wind get knocked out of me. Hawk did everything he could to get up, but Tate seemed much stronger.
