This one is a bit longer. Hope you all enjoy!
NicholasThis past week has been hectic. Between Kenz’s Luna ceremony preparations, cleaning up the Red River mess, and looking for Trinity, it’s a miracle that things have been semi-normal around here. After cleaning up Red River, Cash and I decided to split the territory to expand our packs. We were going to go over the details after the ceremony about how exactly we wanted things to go. We had a few ideas but have yet to come to a concrete conclusion. With dad and Uncle Vin’s construction business, it would be easy for us to build what we needed. As I was looking over some paperwork from the patrol reports over the last week, there was a knock on my office door. Tucking the papers into a drawer, I received a mind link from Mason.“It’s important.” he said with a bit of urgency in his voice.“Then come in.” I moved my neck side to side, giving it a satisfying crack as the door opened.“What does it smell in here?” Mason scrunched his nose, walking in with Erik behind him.“Do you re
Mackenzie After our shopping trip, we went straight to El’s room to get ready for the ceremony later in the evening. We had about seven hours to get ready and mom said that was cutting it close. What I was not expecting was to get my highlights redone in my hair and a full mani-pedi. What took the longest were the highlights. When I saw the results, I was stunned. They were stunning while complementing my skin tone. I ran my almond-shaped nails through my hair, admiring how it looked and felt. Along with the touch-up, I also received a trim on my ends, making my hair bouncier. As I was trying to enjoy the view, I was being propped and prodded by the hair and make-up stylists. They were plucking every single hair they found, along with my eyebrows. My eyes were watering from the rip of wax from my brows, making it hard to focus. “Luna, please sit still.” One of the stylists kindly asked. That was easier said than done. “You try having your eyes waxed, your toes tickled, and your hai
Mackenzie As I looked toward the stage, it was like staring at a god in heaven. Nico stood there in all his glory, his light gray tuxedo fitted his body perfectly. I could see every muscle bulging beneath the fabric, his light pink dress shirt fitted to show off his abs. I could see every ridge and ripple. My mouth salivated the whole way down the aisle toward him. The fairy lights all around gave him an enteral glow, making his look so fuckable. “Save those thoughts for later.” Nico’s voice came through my thoughts. “Can you hear them?” “I can smell them along with everyone else. Hawk is about to lose his shit.” “Rose is about to as well if you don’t keep your dick down.” I shot back with a smirk. I watched as he tried to subtly fix his dress pants. “When do I get my mate?” Rose pouted in my head. I didn’t even know wolves could pout. “Are you seriously pouting
Mackenzie It’s been a few days since my Luna ceremony. Everything went well and none of the pack members asked any further questions. I got to know some of the Luna’s from the packs that attended. I hit it off with a few, making plans to get together for lunch or spa days. The Alpha’s I met were all very nice and charming. All of them were just like Nico. Possessive and protective. Some of the Luna’s used their charm to get their mates to leave them alone for the night, so we could spend time together. There were a few that rubbed me the wrong way. They were all high maintenance, whiny, while some even screeched. One we overboard when her mate, I believe his name was Alpha Dakota, but Nico called him Kota. He was telling me how they met at Alpha training and hit it off, becoming fast friends. His Luna, however, I doubt we would be friends. She was too much for me. Always had to be where Dakota was, she inserted herself in every conversation, threw a hissy fit when she didn’t get her w
Nicholas It’s been a few days since our visit with Grammy Mary, who insisted that I call her Grammy. She’s been working with Kenz on how to control her emotions, so she can better control her powers. So far, it seems to be working. While they were busy working, I was in my office with Mason and Erik while Cash was on video call. We were going over final preparations for the former Red River territory. As many packs thought that we wiped out the whole pack, we weren’t that savage. Our men were trained not to hurt women, children, or innocent pack members. They were trained to go after those in battle or those who posed a threat. With all that, we had many families that were displaced by the war. We gave them the option to join either the Blue River or Crystal River pack. Some chose to pick a pack while others chose to find another pack willing to take them. I made sure to tell them to mention my name and have that Alpha call for references. I got a few calls from various Alphas, confi
Nicholas“What the fuck do you mean you can’t find her?!” It’s been over an hour since those two douchebags got away and there was still no sign of Kenz or the other girls. We knew they were with Grammy, but no one knew where.“We’re looking everywhere, Alpha. No one saw them leave, so they are here somewhere.” Dutton, one of my top warriors responded. He sounded scared, desperate, and defeated. He was beating himself up over the fact they got away from under his nose.“Son?” I heard mom’s voice from behind me. “What is going on? Why is everyone running around? Did something happen?”“Mom.” I sighed in relief. I was so focused on finding Kenz that it never occurred to me to ask mom. “Have you seen Kenz?” I frantically asked. My chest was heaving from anger and frustration.“Last I saw her, she was in her office with the girls and Mary. Is something wrong Nick?” she placed her hand on my cheek in a motherly way, calming me down.“I haven’t been able to reach her for over an hour, and we
MackenzieEverything around was so vibrant. I could smell the wildflowers in the field, the crisp water from the lake, along with the fresh scent of dirt. I kept my mind clear while I focused on controlling my emotions. Throughout the morning, I have learned that sadness makes everything seem scrambled, anger makes things hard to remember, while happiness makes everything clearer. I took myself back to all the times I played in the field by the lake as a child. The flowers, the crisp lake air, as well as the scent from the woods. I made most of my memories there as a child with El, Mason, Erik, and Nico. We were all kids back then, but playing tag, hide-n-seek, and all the fun child games made everything better.I opened my eyes to see everyone below me. We were in my office practicing since it was raining out. Peyton and El looked at me in awe, while Grammy looked proud. We'd been at this for hours and I couldn’t seem to keep my focus. Grammy suggested I clear my mind, close off my m
Mackenzie “Are you sure about this?” El asked as I raided my closet for a dress. It’s been a few stressful days of training since Grammy told us we have a month to prepare. She said we wouldn’t necessarily be attacked at that time, but that was when our powers would manifest to their highest. It was imperative we knew how to control them by then, just in case something did happen. “I think it’s a brilliant idea!” Peyton chirped as she fixed the straps to her top. “If they find out, I’m not going down for it.” “Stop being a worry wart.” I shook my head. “I’ll take the blame when they find out. No need to worry out that.” “We’ll only have a few hours. I’m still learning how to make my glamour spell last longer than that.” “That’s all the time we’ll need to have a few drinks and loosen up.” I called over my shoulder. I gave up on looking for a dress, going for a pair of black leather pants and a deep blue halter top. After putting those on, I paired my ensemble with a pair of silv
