Chaos's POV

(From the beginning)

.

I don't like that pack.

That was nothing personal. But I didn't like it either, because even though I've earned a name as the most ruthless alpha in the world, their methods weren't something I would approve of.

There should be respect and mutual understanding between pack members. But it doesn't seem to be there in that shit hole.

They even dared to demote one of their own pack members into a slave!!!

Exactly what kind of sick minds do they have?

"Alpha, we're here." As my beta, Ezra announced our arrival, I composed myself and got out of the car.

"Welcome, Alpha Nightwalker... Beta Zale..." The alpha of the Redmoon pack, Jared Redmoon greeted us.

But I didn't care about his hospitality or the respect he showed towards me. The council wanted me to investigate whether this pack is having a slave or not and that's what I'm going to care about.

"My alpha would like to rest for a while. Where are our rooms?" Ezra asked in my stead.

.

"Alpha, are you planning to do what the council asked?" Ezra asked after we settled down in our rooms.

"Yeah. But before that, I need some rest." I get onto the bed dismissing him since this trip was like a vacation for me.

But for some reason my wolf kept nagging in my mind making it annoyingly hard to fall asleep.

'What do you want, Eros?' I asked, annoyed.

'Something isn't right. I feel like our mate is here. But it's very hard to detect her presence. It's like something more powerful is concealing her.' As my wolf, Eros explained I too felt worried but I didn't care.

I wasn't someone who's made out from 'mate material'. I'm cold, ruthless and heartless to the core and I never cared much about my 'feelings' or imagined having a mate in my future. And I never felt any urge to find mine after I first shifted either.

Now... I didn't know what to do either.

'Try to trace her presence. I don't wanna lose her. Even if you don't care, I still need a mate. So, follow the leads.' Eros demanded.

'You old dog! You really are a huge pain in my ass.' I grumbled, but got off the bed nonetheless and walked downstairs.

Not long after, I also felt something pulling me towards the kitchen and my body also accepted it's' not-so-powerful invitation, forcing me to move.

Soon I found myself staring at my beta trying to calm down a scared little girl.

At first glance, I realized that she is the one who I felt the pull towards. And my wolf also whimpered softly, feeling relieved that he finally found her. But I didn't feel like she was the right one even though my wolf was satisfied with his founding.

I feel- I knew for a fact that something is clearly wrong with that little beauty...

"Alpha" Ezra bowed down to me as the girl fell onto her knees.

"What's going on here?" I asked, looking at her small figure.

She had her midnight black hair tied up to a bun and had a sickly pale skin tone, but I failed to see her eyes as she kept them lowered towards the floor. Also she only possessed a dull-creamy scent and it was not very intoxicating as it should be if she was to be my mate. Also, I had many questions waiting at the tip of my tongue waiting for the right moment to get them thrown into her timid figure..

But since Eros didn't want to accept that the pull we're feeling towards her is a wrong call, I had to restrain myself from doing something reckless and scare her off to prevent my wolf from going on a rampage and Ezra helped prove the fact.

When he slightly covered her figure with his body in order to make her feel less-intimidated by my presence, Eros took over my body in a flash and attacked him without any second thoughts.

I knew my sudden attack confused my beta and scared the girl, but my wolf didn't want to back off. He had already recognized that girl as someone who should belong to him.

"What's going on here? And why are you attacking your own beta?" My cousin's voice suddenly rang out breaking me from my trance.

"Nothing. My wolf got out of control for a moment. That's all. Ezra, let's go." I said coldly, releasing Ezra from my grasp and marched out of the kitchen without waiting there any longer.

"Alpha... are you... okay?" Once out of their hearing range, Ezra asked skeptically.

"As I said, Eros got out of control but I'm fine now." I deadpanned.

"Could it be that she is your..."

"Don't know. Eros felt some kind of pull towards her, but I didn't find her scent as intoxicating as it should be for a mate." I replied nonchalantly, earning an "Oh" from Ezra.

.

However, after that I found myself wondering about her and waiting for a chance to see her again. But since that day I couldn't find any trace of her weak scent anywhere in the pack lands.

It was almost like she had disappeared into thin air. And I was just about to give up when I caught a whiff of her scent mixed with blood coming from the exact same place where I met her for the first time.

There, in the middle of the kitchen floor she laid curled up into a ball trying to avoid kicks from two other females. She didn't make any sound but her face was distorted in excruciating pain.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING OMEGAS?" Eros's voice boomed through me scaring the shit out of those two bitches.

"Alpha! We... We're teaching this slave a lesson..." One of them said without any shame or fear.

"Slave?" I questioned coldly since it was the reason I came here personally and they dare to say things like that so shamelessly?!

"We- I- It's- We-" They stuttered like hens who were trying to lay eggs, but I didn't care as I approached the injured girl.

There were cuts and wounds at every inch of her body and she was slipping in and out from consciousness.

"You reek of Aziel's scent." Eros growled angrily into her ear before trying to pick her up.

"Eva! What happened?!" But when Aziel's panicked voice rang through the kitchen before his hurried footsteps approached us, a threatening growl ripped through my throat.

However, he didn't pay any attention to it as he picked her up and ran out after threatening her torturers. And it successfully threw my wolf off the edge making it very hard to control the urge I felt to shift.

What exactly is their relationship? And who is she to me?

Hello there my beloved readers, This marks the end of this long journey. My first thanks goes to the person who invited me to work with this platform and then to all my editors for their immeasurable help and guidance they provided throughout this process. And then I thank all of my beloved readers for the support and appreciation you have shown towards my work. I don't know if this work is good or bad or mild since it was basically one of my first ever web novels and I was a bit immature when I first started writing this almost two years ago. Since then, I have learnt and grown more. However, I still hope that this story entertained you with my chaotic imagination. Writing this story has been more than just weaving words together; it's been a shared experience of laughter, tears, and heartfelt moments. Every view, each vote, and every new follower has been a source of encouragement, driving me to push my boundaries to give my best to you, delving deeper into the world of celesti

  • The Alpha's Celestial   Epilogue: The Alpha's Celestial

Eva's POV . ~• Five years later •~ ...Nine Ten Eleven Thirteen... Or is it twelve? Or maybe fourteen? Or did I breath at all? I can't remember anymore… Everything is a blur, and all I can feel is the stinging pain of my nails digging into my palm. Six hours! Six freaking hours of never ending demands to do this and that, all at once!! That's the consequences of being unable to resist the puppy eyes of my sisters-in-law when I could have just eloped with my mate without anyone noticing anything at all. It would have spared me from this suffering. It's nerve-wracking and too tiresome, but that's what happens when you have two sisters-in-law dead set on making a perfect bride out of you. And I don't even want to start with my two mothers—yes, mothers. My biological mother and adoptive mother, whom my biological father, the moon god, and I successfully brought back to life alongside my adoptive father and my best friend Ezra five years ago. That healing wave that exploded

Eva's POV."How are you feeling?" I asked, gently caressing his cheek. He still looked so pale, and I still couldn't sense Eros's presence in his mind, but at least he was conscious now. "Mm... heavy, like I am submerged in water." He replied groggily, a husky undertone in it which sent a pleasant shiver down my spine. I couldn't help it when my hum came out more like a moan than a proper hum. He chuckled amusedly."You've been way more active ever since I marked you, my love... Your reactions to my actions are... well... They are pleasantly surprising, to say the least. You sure it wasn't all on Razna?""Shut up!" I shot back at his teasing, obviously flustered but not wanting to admit it. His earthy laughter only made me more flustered and blush more deeply."I love this side of you." He confessed warmly. I involuntarily leaned into his touch as he reached out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers lingering to caress my cheek and jawline. Our past hadn't been

  • The Alpha's Celestial   58) The aftermath

Aziel's POV . The moment the last celestial fell, Eva was gone. One second, she was still there, hovering above the withered and shrunken bodies of the dozen or so council members; the next second she was gone. When my mind registered that it was finally over, an immense wave of exhaustion washed over me and I collapsed onto the ground. Soon, I was forced to shift back, unable to maintain my wolf form a second longer. I felt my wolf retract far back into my mind, utterly spent from the intense battle. My mate whined worriedly, gently licking my face as he lay down, wrapping himself around my slumped body. 'You okay, baby?' His voice echoed in my mind, sounding drained but not as much as me, since he managed to stay in his wolf form. '...ngh... exhausted.' I thought back, too tired to even speak. The scene around us was brutal and bloody, but I had no strength left to care as I let Anubis cradle me against his warm, furry body. I didn't even care that both of us were covered in b

  • The Alpha's Celestial   57) The night is here

3rd Person's POV(Warning: Scenes of war, blood, and gore included. Proceed with caution.) . Barging into the heart of a celestial clan was never an easy feat to achieve. It was proven true when even after so many hours, they still struggled to breach into Ayn Shams. Even sending the three alphas inside took almost all the effort of Selene and Hecate put together. To fight against an army of elite celestial warriors and minor deities just with a few packs of werewolves and the band of Greek hunters, it was supposed to be an endgame. It was basically a battle between canines and manmade weapons with the deities themselves interfering here and there, trying to make their respective parties win. It was literally a bloodbath that cost many their lives. If those who think that the worst massacre happened in World War II had a chance to witness this particular battle, they will definitely lose their sanity out of pure horror!! There were at least a thousand of giant wolves going ramp

  • The Alpha's Celestial   56) Likeness remains

3rd Person's POV . "Impossible!" Mafdet snarled, her eyes blazing with fury as she glared at the girl she had taken such pleasure in torturing for weeks. The council stood frozen, unable to interfere as the weakened and battered moon child rapidly regained her lost glory and suppressed power in mere seconds, thanks to her mate's marking. They could do nothing but watch the scene unfolding before their eyes as something indescribable kept them all from interfering. It was as if the universe itself stood on the side of the soulmates, giving them a chance to reinstate their lost bond that connected them together. "What is going on?" A goddess demanded, her voice tinged with panic as their powers failed to reach the supposed 'prisoners'. "Get them down! NOW!!" Amun-Ra barked in frustration as their attempts to attack the four went in vain. The marking was a miracle, unparalleled in its nature, much less in front of the Egyptians who never believed in the red thread of fate or sou
