Chaos's POV

.

'What does he think he's doing?' Eros growled in my mind.

'How do I know?' I snapped at him and focused on the matter at hand.

"What is the purpose of doing that? You can't keep slaves in your pack. That's illegal!" I asked, looking right at the torturers.

With their weak aura and submissive attitude, I could clearly tell that these two were omegas. But there was something amiss with that mysterious girl, Eva.

Even though she appeared as a submissive omega, I felt like my dominant aura didn't affect her. She pretends that it does, but in reality it didn't seem like that.

Who is she, really?

"Alpha... We- Our alpha-"

"Oh, that's his orders?! Fine. I'll settle this matter with him then. But for doing what you did now, pray for the goddess that you wouldn't cross me ever again!!" I threatened being unable to listen to their unpleasant voices and pathetic excuses.

'See where that ass, Jared is.' I ordered my beta through our mind link as I strode out of the kitchen.

'He's with Alpha Aziel in his office. Is everything okay, alpha?' He replied soon after.

'I found that 'slave' and it was the girl you were with the other day.' As soon as I said that, Ezra shouted in my mind, making my head spin.

'WHAT?'

'Don't scream in my mind. Get lost!' I said, annoyed before closing the link and marched right into Jared's office startling the two men who had been discussing, or more likely arguing about something in there.

"A-alpha Nightwalker!"

"Chaos..." They both greeted me simultaneously but with completely contrasting tones.

While my cousin looked smug after seeing me, Jared looked like he was going to piss in his pants any second.

"What do you think you are doing?! Don't you know that keeping a slave is illegal?!!" I questioned furiously without waiting any longer wondering the reason behind their contrasting attitudes.

"A-alpha... I- We didn't-"

"Oh, come on... We both know that, that's not the right answer." Aziel objected in a playful tone without even giving Jared any chance to speak.

However, his eyes held a murderous glint that matched with my mood unlike the friendly tone he maintained.

What exactly is his problem here?

"You need to let go of my sister before we do something really reckless and you know exactly how it would go for you." Aziel threatened, confusing me even more.

His sister? Isn't she in the Midnight Moon pack?

Most importantly, what exactly are 'we' planning to do now?

"But Alpha Midnight, she's-"

"ENOUGH!" Aziel snapped at Jared, extruding his all powerful alpha aura.

That's new.

Even though Aziel was a very powerful alpha, he always maintained a friendly attitude unlike me, so anyone could go and discuss matters with him instead of going after each other's throats. But today... It seemed like the roles were reversed.

Today, he acted more like me. Or even worse.

"I'm done with your bullshit. If you don't do what I want you to do right now, I'm going to wipe your whole pack out of existence within the next couple of hours!! I'm sure Chaos will gladly help me to do that." He threatened again, stealing a glance towards me.

"What exactly are you planning to do, Aziel?" I asked, folding my arms across my chest.

"Getting the business done in your stead." He deadpanned.

That slight disrespect earned a growl from Eros but I had more things running in my mind to pay attention instead of that.

"My business?"

"Later." My question again got deadpanned by him, which earned a louder growl this time.

"So, Jared... What do you think?"

"I- I'll release her, alpha." Jared agreed very reluctantly to whatever requirement Aziel made.

"Good and remember NOT to come anywhere near my sister ever again!! If I had to hear any kind of bad mouthing about her in the future, I'll hunt them down and... you. Understood?" As Aziel warned, Jared lowered his head and mumbled a quick "Yes''.

I admit that it was very pleasing to the eye, but I didn't feel any satisfaction because I wasn't the one who caused it.

"Remember to get the adoption papers done within the next hour." Aziel reminded him before hurriedly marched out of the room.

And there goes my chance to get a proper answer... Damn it!

.

After that I heard that my cousin adopted that omega, Eva into his family since she was still considered as a child. And I suppose that was also the reason for her to stay in this pack for this long, enduring all that pain and tortures.

Poor thing...

'Don't pity her! She's not weak and it was supposed to be you, who should have helped her out of this hellhole. Idiot!' Eros grumbled in my mind.

It was always like this between him and me after Aziel officially took that girl under his wings and I hate this.

'What are you suggesting then? Clearly, she is NOT our mate. So why do you care?'

'I didn't say that she isn't our-'

'Then claim her! Why are you whining in my mind instead of helping her out?' I snapped, disturbing his thoughts.

'It's not that I- Do you feel it?' He changed the topic, suddenly changing his annoyed tone into an excited one.

'Feel what?'

'Focus' Eros advised and I did exactly that.

For a moment, I didn't feel anything. But when I focused intently, I felt the same pull I felt towards that girl previously.

This time, much stronger and deeper.

It led me out of the pack house and a few yards into the woods until I came across a small meadow.

On this midsummer night, I was brightly lit with silver moonlight and thousands of little fireflies and there in the middle of it I saw the source of the pull that led me here.

She stood there with her back towards me and her head turned upwards. And with her small figure glowing in the moonlight and shiny silver hair cascading down past her knee length she looked like an angel, descended from heaven.

When the wind carried her intoxicating gardenia flowery-like scent towards me, I would've fallen onto my knees if it wasn't for the urge I felt to close the distance between us.

Feeling my presence, as she looked over her shoulder, her enchanting sapphire-silver eyes pierced through mine in curiosity as the bond I've been afraid to have for this long clicked into place.

"Mate" Eros called out loud the word he has been dreaming to call so softly, even I had to double check whether it was really mine, making her face lit up in shock and surprise.

Hello there my beloved readers, This marks the end of this long journey. My first thanks goes to the person who invited me to work with this platform and then to all my editors for their immeasurable help and guidance they provided throughout this process. And then I thank all of my beloved readers for the support and appreciation you have shown towards my work. I don't know if this work is good or bad or mild since it was basically one of my first ever web novels and I was a bit immature when I first started writing this almost two years ago. Since then, I have learnt and grown more. However, I still hope that this story entertained you with my chaotic imagination. Writing this story has been more than just weaving words together; it's been a shared experience of laughter, tears, and heartfelt moments. Every view, each vote, and every new follower has been a source of encouragement, driving me to push my boundaries to give my best to you, delving deeper into the world of celesti

Eva's POV . ~• Five years later •~ ...Nine Ten Eleven Thirteen... Or is it twelve? Or maybe fourteen? Or did I breath at all? I can't remember anymore… Everything is a blur, and all I can feel is the stinging pain of my nails digging into my palm. Six hours! Six freaking hours of never ending demands to do this and that, all at once!! That's the consequences of being unable to resist the puppy eyes of my sisters-in-law when I could have just eloped with my mate without anyone noticing anything at all. It would have spared me from this suffering. It's nerve-wracking and too tiresome, but that's what happens when you have two sisters-in-law dead set on making a perfect bride out of you. And I don't even want to start with my two mothers—yes, mothers. My biological mother and adoptive mother, whom my biological father, the moon god, and I successfully brought back to life alongside my adoptive father and my best friend Ezra five years ago. That healing wave that exploded

Eva's POV."How are you feeling?" I asked, gently caressing his cheek. He still looked so pale, and I still couldn't sense Eros's presence in his mind, but at least he was conscious now. "Mm... heavy, like I am submerged in water." He replied groggily, a husky undertone in it which sent a pleasant shiver down my spine. I couldn't help it when my hum came out more like a moan than a proper hum. He chuckled amusedly."You've been way more active ever since I marked you, my love... Your reactions to my actions are... well... They are pleasantly surprising, to say the least. You sure it wasn't all on Razna?""Shut up!" I shot back at his teasing, obviously flustered but not wanting to admit it. His earthy laughter only made me more flustered and blush more deeply."I love this side of you." He confessed warmly. I involuntarily leaned into his touch as he reached out to tuck a stray strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers lingering to caress my cheek and jawline. Our past hadn't been

  • The Alpha's Celestial   58) The aftermath

Aziel's POV . The moment the last celestial fell, Eva was gone. One second, she was still there, hovering above the withered and shrunken bodies of the dozen or so council members; the next second she was gone. When my mind registered that it was finally over, an immense wave of exhaustion washed over me and I collapsed onto the ground. Soon, I was forced to shift back, unable to maintain my wolf form a second longer. I felt my wolf retract far back into my mind, utterly spent from the intense battle. My mate whined worriedly, gently licking my face as he lay down, wrapping himself around my slumped body. 'You okay, baby?' His voice echoed in my mind, sounding drained but not as much as me, since he managed to stay in his wolf form. '...ngh... exhausted.' I thought back, too tired to even speak. The scene around us was brutal and bloody, but I had no strength left to care as I let Anubis cradle me against his warm, furry body. I didn't even care that both of us were covered in b

  • The Alpha's Celestial   57) The night is here

3rd Person's POV(Warning: Scenes of war, blood, and gore included. Proceed with caution.) . Barging into the heart of a celestial clan was never an easy feat to achieve. It was proven true when even after so many hours, they still struggled to breach into Ayn Shams. Even sending the three alphas inside took almost all the effort of Selene and Hecate put together. To fight against an army of elite celestial warriors and minor deities just with a few packs of werewolves and the band of Greek hunters, it was supposed to be an endgame. It was basically a battle between canines and manmade weapons with the deities themselves interfering here and there, trying to make their respective parties win. It was literally a bloodbath that cost many their lives. If those who think that the worst massacre happened in World War II had a chance to witness this particular battle, they will definitely lose their sanity out of pure horror!! There were at least a thousand of giant wolves going ramp

  • The Alpha's Celestial   56) Likeness remains

3rd Person's POV . "Impossible!" Mafdet snarled, her eyes blazing with fury as she glared at the girl she had taken such pleasure in torturing for weeks. The council stood frozen, unable to interfere as the weakened and battered moon child rapidly regained her lost glory and suppressed power in mere seconds, thanks to her mate's marking. They could do nothing but watch the scene unfolding before their eyes as something indescribable kept them all from interfering. It was as if the universe itself stood on the side of the soulmates, giving them a chance to reinstate their lost bond that connected them together. "What is going on?" A goddess demanded, her voice tinged with panic as their powers failed to reach the supposed 'prisoners'. "Get them down! NOW!!" Amun-Ra barked in frustration as their attempts to attack the four went in vain. The marking was a miracle, unparalleled in its nature, much less in front of the Egyptians who never believed in the red thread of fate or sou
