We walked into the house and heard Damon growl so loudly that the ground shook and next it was followed by the sound of glass shattering.

“What the hell is going on? I turned to ask Stephanie who didn't look fazed by this at all.

“My father is around, that was his car outside, this usually happens anytime he visits.” She says and just as she finished talking her father came out of the hallway and walked towards us.

Shit, I haven't seen him since I talked back to him during breakfast and I do not have the same confidence right now that I did back then.

“There you are, Stephanie, so you coke back home and you don't think to come and visit your father?” He asks her, completely ignoring that I'm there but I'm fine with that.

“I've barely been back a week father, I just wanted to get over the jet lag first, I'll come around tomorrow.” She tells him.
