Chapter Hundred : Protest

Her POV

The noise outside was loud.

Too loud.

Voices rising. Feet stomping. Anger filling the air like a storm that refused to calm down.

I stood at the doorway for a moment before stepping inside the room. My eyes moved slowly… and then I saw her.

Camille.

She was standing by the window, her back to me, her figure still but not calm. I could tell just by looking at her. She wasn’t afraid… but she was thinking. Deeply. Carefully.

Outside, the pack was restless.

  • The Alpha’s Contract Mate   The crown

Chapter 105 : The crowHer PoVThe silence in the arena stretched longer than anyone expected. The words I had spoken still hung in the air, heavy and impossible to ignore. I could feel the confusion in the crowd, the disbelief in their eyes, the way everything had suddenly shifted in a way no one had prepared for.All eyes were on Theo.Waiting.Watching.Expecting him to say something. To refuse. To question. To step back. But he did none of those things. For a brief moment, he stood still beside me, his expression unreadable, his presence calm but strong. I could feel the tension around us, the weight of every gaze pressing against him, waiting for his reaction. Then slowly, without saying a single word, he stepped forward.A soft wave of murmurs moved through the crowd immediately.“What is he doing?”“Is he going to accept it?”My heart tightened slightly as I watched him move. This was not what I expected. This was not what anyone expected. He walked straight toward the elders,

  • The Alpha’s Contract Mate   Crown To Him

Chapter 104 : Crown To Him Her PoV The silence stretched for a moment longer, thick and heavy, as if the entire arena was holding its breath, waiting for me to finally speak. I could feel their eyes on me, their expectations rising, their curiosity growing with every second I remained quiet. Then I finally lifted my head fully and let my voice carry across the arena.“The one I choose…” I began slowly, my tone calm but clear, “is my mate.”The reaction was immediate. Confusion spread across their faces, and murmurs began to rise again. People turned to each other, whispering, questioning, trying to understand what I meant.“Her mate?” someone asked.“Who is she talking about?” another voice followed.I did not rush. I let them wonder for just a second longer before I spoke again.“I will give the crown…” I continued, my voice steady, “to Theo.”This time, the arena did not just murmur. It exploded.Shock spread like fire through the crowd. Some people gasped loudly, others stepped f

  • The Alpha’s Contract Mate   The Day

Chapitre 103The DayHer PoVhe moment we stepped into the arena, I felt it immediately. Something was not right, and I did not need anyone to explain it to me or show me proof. It was in the air, heavy and strange, like a quiet warning that refused to be ignored. The crowd had already gathered, filling every space, their eyes turning toward me the second I appeared. There were too many faces, too many expressions, and I could feel every single one of them watching me closely. Some people were cheering softly, calling my name with voices that carried hope.“Camille!”“She can do it!”But others were completely different. Their faces were cold, their eyes distant, and the way they looked at me made it clear that they did not think I belonged there. Then came the whispers. They were not loud, but they were sharp enough for me to hear them clearly.“She shouldn’t be here…”“She’s not fit to lead…”“This is wrong…”The words reached me even when they tried to hide them, and though I kept

  • The Alpha’s Contract Mate   Going

Chapitre 102The room felt too quiet.I stood in front of the mirror, staring at my reflection, but I wasn’t really seeing myself. My thoughts were too loud. Too many things were running through my mind at once.Today was not just a ceremony. It was everything. My hands moved slowly over my dress, smoothing it down, even though it was already perfect. I didn’t know why I was doing it. Maybe to calm myself. Maybe to feel in control. My heart was beating fast, but I forced my face to stay calm.I had to look strong.I had to feel strong.I lifted my head slightly… and my eyes met his reflection behind me.Theo.He was standing a few steps away, already dressed, watching me quietly. My breath slowed a little. There was something about him. The way he looked at me… steady, calm, like nothing could shake him. It always made me feel a little more grounded.“You’re staring,” I said softly, even though I didn’t turn.“I’m allowed to,” he replied.A small smile touched my lips before I could s

Chapter 101Her POvThe noise outside did not stop.It grew louder. What started as shouting had turned into something else. Something heavier. Something dangerous.I stood by the window, my eyes scanning the crowd below. My jaw tightened slowly.“They’re getting too close,” I said under my breath.Camille was beside me, still calm, still steady. But I could feel it… her wolf was alert now. Watching. Ready.Outside, the pack members were no longer just protesting. They were pushing. Some of them moved toward the gates, hitting against it, trying to force their way inside. Others shouted louder, their voices filled with anger and fear.“We won’t accept her!”“This is against our laws!”“She’s not our Alpha!”The guards were struggling now. I could see it clearly. They were trying to hold the line, trying to calm the crowd, but it wasn’t working. This was no longer just noise. This was turning into a riot.I stepped back from the window, my body already tense, ready to move.“We need to
