Destiny’s POV

Alpha Theo’s wolf was the biggest wolf I’d ever laid my eyes on. And he was coming right at me, growling with a controlled wildness that anyone would be instantly terrified of. Heck, even I would freeze for a moment.

But my wolf wasn’t about that. She didn’t care about the big bad wolf, and that surprised me more than anything. How daring she was. How bold.

Theo’s wolf obviously didn’t like the fact that he wasn’t being worshipped, something I was sure he’d gotten a lot of from other female wolves.

My wolf’s back was to him, trudging down the path we came from as if she had somewhere more important to be, as if being in his presence irked her.

Then he pounced with a warning growl.

But before he could reach us, my wolf dodged him swiftly with so much smoothness you would think she had eyes at the back of her head and had seen him attack.

I could feel the boiling anger rising from her as she returned his growl with a snarl of hers, her fangs baring at him. Her small body

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Agony

Destiny’s povMy body was aching all over as I glared at the man holding my child. Fear filled my insides as the sounds of my baby’s piercing scream filled the air.The sound was a perfect, beautiful sound, and for a moment, I forgot about the pain. I forgot about the man. All I saw was my child. My pup. My baby. My everything.“Give me my baby back,” I said, my voice a low, raspy whisper. My body was shaking with both fury and fear, but my words were filled with a cold, hard finality. I was a mother, and I would do anything. Anything at all, anything to protect my child. The man just smiled, the look of triumph and cruelty that sent a fresh wave of terror through me. He looked at me, his eyes filled with cruel pleasure. “Look at you,” he said, his voice a low, raspy purr. "A monster. A werewolf. And you have the audacity to think you can demand something from me."My blood ran cold. He knew. He didn't just suspect. He knew. A fear so strong wrapped its hand around my heart. On a norm

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Six Months Later

Destiny’s povIt's been just six months, but boy, did it feel like a lifetime.I should be happy and living freely. I should wake up with all smiles and look forward to the day. But it was the complete opposite.Six months of silent days and lonely nights.Six months of hiding, of pretending to be someone I wasn't.Six months of running.Yes, I had succeeded in gaining my freedom, but in exchange, I had become a ghost in the world of werewolves and a normal person in the world of humans. The humans saw me as just a pregnant lady who had moved into town, a shy, quiet girl who kept to herself. I had managed to get a part-time job as a waitress at a small, family-owned restaurant, and so far, no one suspected that I was anything but human. The protection balm that Rebecca had given me was my only shield, a constant, soothing presence on my skin. I applied it every single day, twice a day, and I would like to think it was because of that I hadn't come across any werewolves, and for that,

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Broken

Theo’s povNo one could calm me down. My wolf was a wild, frantic thing, a pained, tormented beast that howled in despair. And me?I was a mess. A broken, empty shell of a werewolf. The thing I had feared the most kept ringing in my mind. The fear that had now become a reality.I had lost her. I had lost her. I had lost my mate. I had lost my world. The search for her had started immediately. I had ordered every single pack member to search the surrounding area, to search the forest, to search the mountains, to search every single place they could think of.But I knew it was all for nothing. I knew they wouldn't find her. I knew she was gone. I just knew. The reports kept coming in, a constant, damning flow of information that only made my heart ache. "We can't find her scent, Alpha." "It's like she vanished into thin air." "She's not in the forest." "She's not in the mountains." "She's not anywhere."The words were a fresh stab of pain. A sharp, bitter pain that made my eyes sting.

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Dread

Theo’s povI returned from the two-day trip with a single thought in my head. Destiny. The rogue attack discussions had been long and boring, a necessary evil that I had endured with a strange sort of restlessness. All I had wanted was to be with her. I could not stop thinking about her. The last two days had been torture. I had tried to push her out of my mind, to bury myself in the details of the attack plans, but it was all for nothing. All I could see was her face, her eyes filled with tears, her voice a desperate, pleading whisper. Her soft, warm body against mine. Her lips on mine. The image of her lying naked in my bed, her stomach a soft, subtle curve that held our child, was a constant presence in my mind. I had been cold to her. I had been cruel. The fear of her being a witch, the very thing that had taken my mother from me, had clouded my judgment. It had made me a coward. I had wasted time feeling sorry for myself. And I wasn’t ready to forgive myself for tha

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Kind Looks After Kind

Destiny’s povI woke up to the smell of lavender and the soft feel of a plush bed under my body. Wait. Lavender? Last time I checked, Theo’s room smelled of wood and… him.Confusion filled me as I slowly opened my eyes.More confusion flicked through me as I took in my surroundings. The room I was in was beautiful. It was a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern simplicity. My brow furrowed as I started to sit up.Where the hell was I?When I sat up fully, I noticed that a woman was sitting in a chair beside me.I raised a brow, “Uh… who are you?”She was sitting on a plush black couch, her head tilted to the side as she studied me as if it was her first time seeing a person. The first thing I noticed about her was that her eyes were really dark, the same with her hair. And she definitely was not a werewolf, judging by her distinct smell. I sniffed. She wasn't human either. My gaze slowly raked her figure. There was something about her that gave off a weird, dangerous vibe.I sens

  • The Alpha's Destiny    Double Flip

Destiny’s povMy heart wasn’t just shattered. It was crushed. The pieces of it were like a thousand tiny shards of pure pain that were scattered on the cold, hard floor of my soul.I stood there, my body rigid. My mind was a whirlwind of terror and disbelief. Maria’s cold voice echoed in my ears, the words final. "Alpha Theo would be happy."I staggered backward, my knees shaking, my mouth open in shock, my chest heaving.Theo was the man who had kissed me on my forehead with a protective gaze in his eyes as he held me tight. It was this same man who thought I was a monster. I held back the choke that threatened to burst out.I could hear the sound of my heart breaking.H-he had made me feel safe. He had made me fall in love with him—yes, I finally admitted it to myself, I was in love with him. He had made me believe that he was sorry for pushing me away, all to try to get rid of me in a soul-wrenching way.I covered my mouth with my palm and took slow steps backward, a tear dropping
