Chapter 18> "Silver bullets"

Dustin shook his head.  "She said she didn't know where he was." Her tone sounded so tearful that he believed her.

"I bet that piece of fur we found in the woods belonged to this guy. He's probably hanging out near the hospital, somewhere out of sight.

Dustin put the key in the lock to open the door, just then they heard a window open inside.

"Someone is inside." He quickly turned the door lock and pushed the door but something was blocking the door from behind, his blood suddenly became hot, adrenaline rushed.

"Let's go round the back he shouted."

They rushed down the hall, and Mrs Morgan who was on the way quickly rushed aside, knocking over the pitcher of water.

Dustin and his uncle rushed into the kitchen and slammed the back door behind them.

They opened the back door and were now outside the building.

There was no sign of the intruder, but footprints had been left on the manicured lawn in the forest,
