Bradley's POV

My wolf growled within me as I paced in my office. I had let my emotions bet the best of me and in doh g so I had hurt Mercedes.

I ran a hand along my face as I wondered how I would possibly apologize to her.

What was it about her that infuriated me so much?

“Brad?” A voice startled me and I turned to stare at Ethan.

“Have you been here all night?” He quirked a brow at me and I looked outside to realize the sun was coming up.

I had spent the whole night thinking about Mercedes?

“I had a lot of work to do,” I lied through my teeth and Ethan didn't look as though he believed me.

“Does said work have anything to do with the bruise I saw Mercedes sporting on her wrist last night?” He probed and my heart dropped.

“What are you talking about?” I gritted out.

“You hurt her,” he announced and my wolf snapped within me in agreement with him.

“It was not my intention,” I retorted.

“But that doesn't change the fact that you did.” Ethan frowned at me.
