Chapter 45: A day filled with surprises
I was so surprised that the alpha was taking my side for his father.
"Tell me what's wrong Nala?" the alpha inquires me impatiently as he gently shakes my body.
"Your father did nothing," I answer him sadly as I turn my head aside.
His evil cold-hearted father didn't say anything to hurt me. His presence alone only did and remembering that he was the one who ruined my life, a great life I could have had with both parents.
