Chapter 44: The alpha's agreement
Immediately, I turn my head to him right away, surprised by the words that came from his mouth.
"What," I repeated shockingly as I stare into his eyes.
"That's the only way I believe will help me to forget you," the alpha told me. "Whenever I'm around you my body dies to touch and feel you which I think it's only lust, that's why, for why I would love you and you're not my mate."
I lower my head hating what he thought his feeling towards me was, for it was not so. It was truly love, our bond. It was not lust and his Luna was not his true Luna. I was.
"If you agree to do so, I promise to let you go but only if you agree to return to your land," the alpha said to me.
I remain to lower my head realizing that what he wanted me to do doesn't seem like a choice after all. Accepting to sleep with him would allow my freedom.
