Ava had been introduced to the kids earlier on, when she had arrived at Vanessa’s home.

First, there was Vanessa and Matt’s kids, a boy and a girl, aged nine and six, the girl being the youngest.

Then, she met Luke, Sasha, and their kids, apparently they had been married longer, they had two boys, the oldest being thirteen and the youngest nine and Luke was Cade’s youngest brother.

Vanessa had informed Ava, that Cade’s kids were older, already eighteen and that soon they were leaving for college.
