Sage was standing in front of him with her arms outstretched. "You came for me," she said. Nikko nodded and smiled. "Of course I did," he replied. He stepped forward and embraced Sage, feeling her warmth in his arms. With that, the two of them watched the sunset together, content to be in each other's presence. Their troubles were a distant memory for the time being. But eventually, they knew those troubles would need to be resolved. Until then, they would simply enjoy the moment and each other's company.
