Nina's POV

"I didn't sign the contract out of will. He made me do it just the way you made me sign a two-year sex contract with you when you were still famous." I stated as Aiden gave me an exasperated look.

"Derek definitely gave you two options. You must have chosen to sign the contract instead. Is that correct?" He shot back.

I was not shocked to hear his prediction, since Derek and him were birds of the same feather. I let out a deep breath as I responded.

"The second option was terrible. I couldn't choose it." I answered, carrying on. "Please help me out with this. Try to convince him to terminate the contract. This is eating me up. Worst case scenario, Jace isn't even aware because he has been detained."

"You're in a tough spot right now," he acknowledged. "But I cannot help you. I am truly sorry. Talk to Derek instead. He should be able to adjust the contract terms if you speak with humility and grace. I've got to go."
