Chapter 13

Lillian told her mother all the things that happened when she wasn’t around. When she was finished, Louve felt overwhelmed with a lot of feelings at once and started crying because she felt helpless that her mate and daughter went through so much.

Everyone calmed her down, and then later Shadow and Lillian went home to make some food for them.

“Call me when you guys are ready. I’ll bring your parents here later.” Olivia told them.

Lillian nodded at her with a smile and hugged her.

“Thanks for everything.” She told her.

Olivia smiled and hugged her back.

“Don’t mention it.” She told her.

Olivia then left the two to do their own things.

When Lillian turned around, she saw Shadow looking at her with his arms crossed and with an expression that suggested that she was in trouble. She smiled at him nervously.
