Chapter 9

Lillian glared at Blake dangerously, which made his legs tremble in fear.

She took a deep breath in and when she let it out, fire came out her mouth.

The wolves whimpered in pain and ran away from the scene with various degrees of burns. Even Blake didn’t run away unscattered.

Once the threat was gone, she dropped Shadow to the ground and transformed back into a human. She was completely naked because her clothes got torn during the transformation.

She felt really weak and got unconscious from the exhaustion.

Shadow ran towards her and caught her before she fell. He took off his shirt and covered her body with it.

He carried her back home on his back, where he clothed her in proper clothes.

He just sat down at the edge of the bed when Olivia suddenly appeared. She looked excited.

“Wake her up quickly!” She told him excitedly.

“I can’t because she passed out.” He told her.

She looked at him, confused.

“Passed out? But, why?” She asked him with a frown.
