Alpha Alexis POV

My heart tore into shreds when I found it that it had all been lies, she had been lying to me the whole time and I thought I might actually die.

She lied to me and didn't tell me, even though she knew how much I loved her and I told her a thousand times that she was my everything, that my whole world revolved around her and I wouldn’t survive without her and I couldn’t do this if she was gone.

What was I going to do? Someone from the council called me, he only did me that favor because I saved his life once. He said they were planning to come for her and I was thrown into a misery of despair.
