⭐Klaus POV⭐

I stood in the middle of the deep forest, whirling and searching, my gaze frantically stripping the trees bare, left and right, like a madman chasing smoke. Nothing. Who the hell had just invaded the fortress of my mind like that? More critically: how had he done it? I had been trained to erect, reinforce, and block every fissure in my mind since the age of ten, to protect it against anyone daring to touch my consciousness.

The presence was gone now—vanished as suddenly as it came. It felt less like an attack and more like a cold, malevolent breeze brushing against my consciousness and dissolving before I could follow it.

I teleported instantly back to the castle, the need for action overriding the shock, and summoned Miranda, the pack's powerful witch. The intrusion could only be Kaden or his witch. If it was, it was also a reckless, arrogant blunder—a thread I could finally trace to the end, a path leading directly to Aria.

⭐ Klaus POV ⭐ I stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in my office, staring out at the world as if it were a painting hung behind glass—alive, moving, breathing—while I remained frozen on the wrong side of reality. Two months. Two fucking long months of searching, hunting, tearing through territories until the land itself grew tired of my footsteps. Two months without a whisper of her—no scent, no trace, no mark left behind to tell me if even she still existed. It was as if the heavens had reached down and snatched her from the earth, leaving nothing but silence in her place.I had turned the world upside down, and somehow she was nowhere and everywhere all at once—like a ghost that refused to be caught. I even went back to the Holy Ruins and found nothing. I made Mika look for her but she couldn’t anymore.Every time I closed my eyes, I saw her.Every time I opened them, I felt her absence like a blade pressed against my throat. My child was growing inside her, and I wasn’t

⭐️ Aria POV ⭐️Deliberately, Kaden walked in slowly and stopped a breath away from me, that taunting smile still plastered on his face. He stood like a clockwork predator, hands in his pockets, as if time itself obeyed him.“Where the fuck am I?” I spat, every word hard as stone—contempt and rage wrapped together.Kaden didn’t bother to answer directly. He tilted his head, eyes cold as river ice. “How are you feeling now? You must be feeling like shit after Sherry’s death.” His voice dripped with venomous amusement. He knew that bringing this up would break me. I said nothing. My throat had turned to sand; words caught on the edges of the memory—Sherry’s last breath looping in my head like a ruined song.“Where am I?” I tried again, trying to lace my voice with indifference, but the lie tasted thin.“You felt it, didn’t you?” he whispered, leaning forward the smallest fraction. “The moment she died.”My body flinched before my brain could catch up.Kaden’s grin widened—slow, surgical

⭐️Klaus POV⭐️“What do you think we should do?”My mother’s voice drifted through the haze—soft, trembling, like it came from underwater.“I have no idea,” King Henry answered, his tone low and worn. The sound pulled me closer to the surface, tugging me from the suffocating depths of darkness I’d been lost in.My mind was a storm of echoes—screams, fire. I didn’t know where one ended and the other began.I tried to move, to sit up, but my body refused. It felt heavy, foreign, as if it didn’t belong to me anymore. Even breathing hurt, as though the air itself didn’t want to enter my lungs.“It’s been a week now,” my mother said, her voice breaking slightly. “Klaus hasn’t woken, and we still can’t find anything about Aria.”A week. The words tore through me like blades. A week of emptiness. A week without her scent, her heartbeat, her warmth beside me.Aria. My mate. My wife. My child—our child. My heart began to pound, weak but frantic, as the memories crashed back like waves—Kaden’s d

⭐ Klaus POV ⭐I stood frozen for a heartbeat, unable to comprehend what had just happened. The air itself seemed ripped from my lungs. It felt like we’d stepped into the Holy Ruins naked—our protection gone, our link severed, the invisible warmth of Sherry’s magic snuffed out like a dying candle.I turned, expecting to find her collapsed—drained, maybe unconscious from exhaustion. But what I saw rooted me to the spot and my heart fell.Sherry stood trembling, her hands limp at her sides. Her light was fading—the faint shimmer of her aura flickered like a candle in the wind. Then, a line of red bloomed down her chin, slow at first, glistening under the firelight. Blood. Her head jerked backward violently, her spine arching with a strangled gasp. The sound of steel meeting flesh split the air—a wet, tearing crack that made my heart stop. For a fraction of a second, her wide, glassy eyes met mine—confused, almost apologetic for failing me—before the blade ripped through her back.Behind

⭐️Klaus POV⭐️The witch’s laugh echoed off the temple walls like thunder wrapped in madness, and from within the cobra’s fiery chest, her voice seeped through the flames.“You should’ve stayed in your castle, Black.”The flames twisted, peeled back—just enough for her face to appear inside the cobra’s skull, ghostlike, flickering. The witch. Her eyes glowed white-hot, her grin manic, jagged like cracked glass. My heart slammed against my ribs.It wasn’t just fire. It was her. She was the cobra. She had bound herself to the flames—made herself a creature of it. This wasn’t just a spell. It was dark and ancient magic used only by blood… Aria’s blood. I took a step forward, my boots crunching over ash, ignoring the raw ache in my ribs, the bruises blooming across my body like flowers of pain.“Let her go!” I roared. The cobra lunged—fast as a lightning strike.I dove aside, its flames licking the edge of my shirt, scorching the floor where I’d stood a heartbeat before. The heat chased m
