Chapter 44

He sat there with his eyes closed. The cold breeze passed him. He was concentrating at the sound of the waterfall and the nature around him. His nose picked the sweet scent of the forest around him. It had been a while since he came here. If it wasn’t because he was a vampire, he would have come here anytime he could. But, he had to wait for a nighttime for him to enjoy the outside world. Vampires could get killed if they were exposed to the sun for a long period.
